When you mean "political discussion" do you mean anything that has to do with politics, or just current events? I'm guessing everything.

Can we still discuss various other social issues?

you can still post news topics but anything of purely political or religious nature will be locked immediately.

Then blame the ones who can't have a civil discussion about these subjects and not us.
We're all pretty much done with dealing with these things over and over again.

There is plenty of other communities and forums where you can discus these things.
