Never seen something like this before. Basically, drone filmed a grad battery barrage with thermal camera - you see rockets flying from the launch point and all the way to receiving end.

And supposed launch site perspective, terrain seems to be matching. Usual mlrs fire video: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d13_1457884713

The videos are awesome.

An interesting fact about the Grad is that its production began in the 60s and continues until today because of proven efficiency, cost benefit and easy handling.

I think that the use of Grads in Syria with the assistance of Russian drones was a setback in the war against Daesh (allowed mass saturation more precisely against enemy positions), which shows that its use and the launcher itself continues to be enhanced (and its rockets), which increases the lifetime of the units.

Another thing to think about it is that Syria has approximately 250 Grads in service, since Russia has around 1750; in a hypothetical domestic warfare in Russia the horizon would become a wall of fire and the sky would be covered by traces of rockets; it would be something worthy of the doomsday. wink.gif

I think in the first video, it's a Buratino not Grad.
