Hi all,

I really like playing as Prince Kassad, and his stealth provides some great options in multiplayer games and skirmishes. I'm having trouble with him in the challenge mode though - as some of these maps limit the option to spread out, and force you to play defensively at the start, I'm having trouble against some generals (Thrax especially) where my defensive line just isn't strong enough to stop them. Any tips on how I can beef it up and improve my anti-tank defences? Those toxin tractors are just chewing up anything I put in front of them. The best option I can think of for the moment is using frogfoots to hammer the chokepoints at the entrances to my base, but I'm not getting much of a chance to tech up that far, as Thrax starts attacking early.

Setup AT guns at choke points?

Have tried, but I'm not having much luck with AT guns - they have very slow fire rates and a small angle of fire, and I haven't found a way to place them effectively. They tend to all fire on the lead tank and then let all the others pass unharmed. Maybe I need to work on better placement.

Demotraps are your friend....

Use early game hijackers and rush palace....After a jarmen your palace should be able to take most hits from thier army...Then go for buggie upgrade GP and just spam buggies till they die

Dont forget to get bounties biggrin.gif

Btw; The AI is so stupid that you can box your supply and build up till palace without making a single unit....Just make sure you boxed yourself in and put a few tunnels on hold fire mode...
With everything camonetted Its just gona patroll around or try to get to your workers...

Well, Stealth General isn't so strong after all, but if I had Stealth General in a game with a lot of money ( like 50 000$ ) , then I send a Technical with 1 / 2 workers + 1 / 2 Hijackers to the enemy base to capture his dozers then build Stealth Tunnel Networks around his base for a random kind of rush, but if I was playing against GLA or one of it's generals, then it's mostly that I won't win.

Now, you asked about what to do in Generals Challenge with Stealth General especially against Dr.Thrax, simply build the defenses but don't build a lot of them, then build lots of Hijackers around your base ( mainly near your defenses ) , so you can use them to capture enemy's units such as Toxin Trucks, Rocket Buggy, Toxin Scud Launcher...etc. cause when you lose the unit that you have captured it using a Hijacker, the Hijacker stay in battle ready to be used again aw.gif , and never forget the Bomb Trucks, Battle buses, Rocket Buggy, Scud Launchers cause they are all helpful , and try to get the Black Market at an earlier time, so you get improved speed of money generation at the beginning :-) .

Good Luck, Have Fun.
