I'm just honestly confused about it, given that half-tracks use their wheels to gain an manuveurbility edge over tracked vehicles, does the Atlas have reversed steering?
Or can the treads seperate from the main tank and transform into support hovertanks while the atlas moves on the wheels by itself? -------------------- ![]() |

I'm pretty sure, like most of the design decisions made by the EC team, they did it simply to be "unique".

Well lemme put it in a way i'm getting tired to put it in - because i don't give a single - SINGLE - even microscopic - FUCK about realism.

Then why are so many of your concepts pseudo-realistic? All designs need to "look" somewhat realistic, to be believable. Cars/Vans have at least 4 wheels on all 4 corners of it's chassis, Planes have at least 2 wings on either side, tanks have treads, a central rotating turret and at least one cannon, etc. Anything beyond that doesn't matter, shouldn't matter, and wouldn't matter to us. We are making a game, not a simulator afterall. This post has been edited by Zeke: 30 Apr 2014, 11:20 -------------------- |

Then why are so many of your concepts pseudo-realistic? Because there's a difference between following some familiar real life design lines that a person can relate to and doing an exact copy of real life stuff. By saying that i don't give a single fuck about realism i mean that i don't care what the purpose of a half-track is in real life not that i'm gonna make a concept of a tank that moves on dildo legs and has tentacles for guns. |

What about a Nanoscopic fuck? I don't think he even gives a Planck fuck. -------------------- Your feeling of helplessness is your best friend, savage.
