RotR has 2 main mod files ( except the patches ) - one with all the ini code and one with all the art ( model + texture ) files. I was wondering if it would be possible ( if not already implemented ) for version 0.96 to be made like this. It would make modding easyer for bouth you guys and us since every time you save the main .big file it takes alot of time because of the massive amounts of art files. If it comes with game lag problems or stuff like that, then scrap this ideea. But if it has no offect, would it be possible to implement this in shockwave also ?

I know how to use final big. I was asking the team if it is possible to do that within the mod itself. Also the mod has additional files iwch links the big to the launcher probably. Spliting the big by myself would probably make the mod extremly buggy.
I know how to do it, i just think it might be buggy, and the easyest and safest way to do it is by the dev team. |

would it be possible to implement this in shockwave also ? We've been using Rise of the Reds' split file system for months now. -------------------- |
