In this way; -Star lifters, -Ospreys -Black hawks -Chinooks Would all benefit from it.(Drone lifter would get drone Armour) O.O they are enough transport units for the American troops .. it's nice to have all that but as you say (USA)BRUCE: is this effective on the battlefield? |

Do you know what would be great? that the OSPREY and / or STARLIFTER ...
1) deploy paratroopers to the soldiers 2) deploy the soldiers in a target area, such as the air transpote units of Tiberium Wars (ok, this is just an ipothetic case) xD |

O.O they are enough transport units for the American troops .. it's nice to have all that but as you say (USA)BRUCE: is this effective on the battlefield? If you have a default arsenal with no unlocks then your main transport for Infantry is a blackhawk due to it having more slots and more health then your other flying transport aka the Osprey. If you unlocked air mobility then the drone lifter is a mixed bag, Its got heal for units inside it and not much else but good speed and armor. So Its by most means superior to the black hawk In transporting but not much else. The last one is the Chinook collector/Heavy gunship, let me be honest...I dont remember a single time this transport capability was used In the last year or maybe two. t;line-height:100%">God knows Marakar would suddenly pop in this thread and say he used it once. Do you know what would be great? that the OSPREY and / or STARLIFTER ... 1) deploy paratroopers to the soldiers 2) deploy the soldiers in a target area, such as the air transpote units of Tiberium Wars (ok, this is just an ipothetic case) xD 1-Thats Impossible to do, you might have seen it in mods like contra, I remember in 007 they had a Spartan C-27, but Its just a bomber whos "bombs" are Infantry that you get for free. 2-Same case for this, even if the engines are the same Tiberium wars engine is more advanced. Soz Bruce, what I meant was: Russia relies too much on helis with goliath that makes the game just completely slow, boring and broken - iirc we were discussing this once and Russia completely relies on it's helicopters which is not supposed to be intended. Their helicopters can rival USA in terms of ground attack and should be nerfed. The goliath system allows them to get free hits on any unit or building.
As for rocket buggies, they are very annoying as a defence, hiding them behind your defences allows you to get free hits on slow units such as Sentinels or Overlords which forces you to have to manuveur through everything GLA throws at the front including Hooks, Jarmen, Marauders, angry mobs & mercs etc. before you can destroy these rocket buggies - my suggestion is to make them slightly more expensive perhaps to $1000 or reduce ammo or damage, maybe range China's just needs some QoL improvements. Slow tanks might be my comp lagging What do you think? |

For the most part, you should try LG, the community patch heres a link It actually answers most issues you suggested, especially with the buggies.Goliath is meant to give give Russia the chance to unload their payload/escape anyways. For now, It makes the helicopter untargetable, deploys AA decoy flares and the untarget-ability ends relatively quicker, so you need to have your AA to target the helicopters rather then the flares. Goliath is annoying, like grumbles its infuriating, really really infuriating but its not really "broken" Try using Goliath against china or russia or GLA with T2 salvage upgraded urals, Untargetability does not mean Invulnerability Quality of life changes? I don't think I can change the AI or the coding of the engine buddy, AI is Mizo's thing, go bounce on his AI thread and annoy Dr.Iron yourself Also given how you phrased these issues your a PVE player right? -------------------- |

Yes - I understand you will then say "balance is for PvP" but these issues can easily occur with players too - especially goliath
I tried LG - it's decent, altho I can't use it on 1.3 |

Yes - I understand you will then say "balance is for PvP" but these issues can easily occur with players too - especially goliath probably you don't know that AI uses money-hack so any increase in price gives no result for PvE. yet Goliath is sometimes the only way to break through good AA defending artillery(like Avengers+Tomahawks or Urals+Buggies) that are demolishing you from far. |

Thing with Russia is that it gets the full chopper roster of Orlov , the general that is meant to play opposite to typical Rissia playstyle , his choppers are intended to be the best in the game.
As for the AI, the new one am batching up will be alot smoother and less spammy but more tactical and will randomize 1 of 3 playstyles instead of using everything. You'll only encounter the full blunt of Ruasia's chopper power from 1 persona, meaning that 1/3 chances you'll be facing this strong tactic. -------------------- Not a Rusty Spoon........The_Hunter uses a goddamn wooden spoon on his AI Scripters.... |
