War...war never changes, but the stories behind them do.

Well, its quite possibly the hardest challenge up to date against Gen Juzhiz, thats for sure.

With starting troops, I can tech up to prop center before their scuds get in range.

Without them, I can barely get a war factory up.

Any strategies for either mode, fellas? I like to at least complete every challenge with each gen at least once.

Thanks guys,

Rocksilver

Maybe just go on an early offensive, get some BMs out to hunt the SCUDs?

One way is going for an Airforce.

I know it is expensive, but get a few mig bombers in the air and a helix for allround support. The only Anti Air he sends at you are the ZSU's that act as escort for the artillery. ZSUs that attack on their own normally don't even stop attack an approaching air unit.

Use your starting units as bait, spread out the red guards around your base for the initial terror bike strikes. Using this you can avoid the first suicide strikes until you get a plane out. Without starting units, you will have to be more creative. Spam tank bunkers in the north. They cost nothing and will attract the first terror strikes. Transport helixes are very effective at killing unarmored targets, notably the terror bikes which your bombers will miss. Babysit your planes, you have not the strongest airforce as tank, and due to the cost you cannot afford to lose them.

A second way involves the below intel strategy. You can use your superior tanks to pretty much kill everything he sends at you pretty easily. I have found Reapers to be a very good choice, since once they are spinned up they kill the triple terrorbike strikes (and everything else) that he sends in a blink. They also have decent range and armour. It does involves a lot of micro, as whenever you see artillery you will have to go and move forward to meet his attack force. A prop tower or two in your base wont hurt either, so your tanks can repair after having barred an enemy attack force.

Also, a good strategy for China to keep some intel on what is attacking you, is building some listening outposts and emptying them. Put them on the north cliff and near the bridge on the south, and you can always see what is coming. He will never send a detector and the outpost can't fire so it won't give itself away.

Don't forget to build a super weapon. Unlike the other generals Juhziz is coded to rebuild his damned scud storm all the time, and you will need yours in conjunction with an artillery strike to keep killing his. Your base has to remain compact in order to protect it from suicide bombers and the TOPOLs from below in the valley with the village. So one scud firing and your a goner.

I'm also assuming you do this on Hard mode.
