What do you think of these words?
Personally, I abhor them. All too often, this "Fun" consists of griefing one's own team, and self-sabotage. there's no fun in that. Everyone is there for some form of "Fun". If you're actually there to win, then good, you're playing the game, if you're saying I play for fun, you need a reality check and a kneecapping. -------------------- |

I mainly play video games because it is, yes, fun. Most of people play for fun, but also find winning the best part of that fun. What he's probably trying to say is that there are some people who can have their fun without winning. The problem is that sometimes they end up in your team. -------------------- |

I play for fun, unlike seemingly a lot of people in the community and certainly not to Win At All Costs. I HATE people who try to WAAC. If you play to win, sure, but if you have a desperate need to abuse every possible trick and legal cheat/imbalance to win an online match whose results will be worthless a minute later then you need to recheck your goals in life.

I am for many years before every game and against any opponent write "HF". For me it is held on tradition. So I give any opponent to understand that I'm going on the upcoming battle to extract as much positive, that I do not aspire to play dry, boring, and only to win. At the same time, wanting a fun game - I am allude to an opponent, so that he, too, tried it interesting as much as possible do it. But at the same time, I never want (and does not write) an opponent GL. simply because I really do not want to wish good luck to the opponent - because in this case it (good luck) can for him to come and punish me for such requests. The same way it does not matter - you lose are strong or weak an opponent; Did you win a strong or weak opponent ... You must write at the end of the game GG. I think it is not necessary to explain to me - this is an elementary culture and ethics, the standard tribute to his opponent.
p.s. but what annoys me is the fact that before the start of the game all the players in RotR (and ONLY RotR - not ShW, not ZH, not CCG or any1 mods) are constantly spamming chat dot ("."). It would be better, they want an opponent's fun game, or luck. and does not good luck ... but not write this stupid "." "." "." "." "." -------------------- when you say a little - it is easier to stick to what has been said © Sauli Niinistö

It makes all players load during the startup of the match.. Altho 1 dot per 1-2 sec is enough, more than that, and it'll crash the game.. |

Uhhmm... I play for the fun.And fun comes in many feeling.I sometimes like Bombing my ally's base and killing his forces when he is about to finish off the enemy But, I only do that when victory is assured or I know I can carry the whole game. But, it also depends on who are your allies. I know, im sure, some of the people dont like that kind of attitude. But, its the internet, you either rage or deal with it

... but not write this stupid "." "." "." "." "." It's a necessary evil to ensure that the game servers actually keep each other connected. If people aren't doing it in Shockwave or vGensZH then they are doing it wrong and they shouldn't be surprised about constant load-fails. |

With me in RTS, I mostly play for fun.
I can lose a match, have given it my all and still had a blast This match in Mental Omega is a prime example. Given I made 1 or 2 mistakes, I gave it my all against a player that was clearly superior. But I had a lot of fun because he didn't quite understand how Latin Confederation worked. I also had matches, in both MO and RotR where I won, but had absolutely no fun what so ever. Be it due to the way my opponent played, some mistakes I made or stuff that I ended up using (Wolfhounds any one?) or that the opponent nags about stuff I do end up using (Naval, how many times I've been cvalled a cheater in MO because of you) Certain aspects make or break my fun |

Playing for fun is fine. Fun is the most important aspect about gaming.
But if you play for fun, don't play any kind of team-based competitive/ranked mode. And if fun means griefing, trolling or cheating, I wish you would die a painful death. |

Unless it's cheating a cheater (like the AI), then it's fair game. Or so I think.
