While playing in a 4 player FFA skirmish, my enemy hit some of my power plants with the Lockdown MLRS EMP missiles, causing my defenses to lose power. While getting overrun, I noticed that my power level was much lower than it should be, given the number of power plants I had. Once I was defeated, I checked my power; sure enough, it was negative.
I believe this is the cause of the error: When USA Superweapon general attacks a building with her Lockdown MLRS (EMP missiles), the building loses power for a period of time, then comes back up. There must be a math glitch with this that takes away power but doesn't give it all back. |

Does the same happen with EMP weapons in vZH though? Good question, not sure about that. There were no mobile EMP weapons in Zero Hour, so the only way you would have seen it is if someone had a structure next to an EMP turret. It's worth testing though. I caused that glitch Yes you did. |

Odd one. I do know a quite related glitch that happens when you disable power plants which are under construction (for example, using the Microwave Tank). Once you do that, the player's power output is reduced, even though the scaffold does not produce any power. If you then proceed to destroy the disabled scaffold, that power is lost for the remainder of the game, allowing you to get into the negative.
Maybe they're the same. -------------------- QUOTE [01:47:30] <+Nem> Core has been the fastest developed total conversion this side of Zero Hour [01:47:40] <+Nem> All art will be completed by the end of the week |
