Go to cancel ANY unit construction and an icon of the GLA Black Market appears instead of the 'cancelled' unit, and placing the mouse the battlefield brings up the ghost image of a Black Market like its going to be constructed but it can't be, and reclicking on the Unit Construction (originally tried to be cancelled) mini-icon that WAS a Black Market goes back to the original Unit.
sorry if its confusing... in the gist... try to cancel a unit build order (e.g JSF) and it brings up a Black Market that can't be built, reclicking on the build order goes back to the original unit, either way unable to Cancel unit production. |

Changing your resolution to a higher setting than the one you are currently using should fix this.

That is probably the oddest bug I have ever read, however if Stinger says so, do so

Try what Stinger said, but it sounds like you could have a corrupt version of ZH or Shw installed.

No, it's a resolution error. I've had it myself and fixed it by increasing the resolution.
Reinstalling does not fix it. -------------------- |

No, it's a resolution error. I've had it myself and fixed it by increasing the resolution. Not trying to seem rude here, but when I played regularly this was something I had happen every couple of days. I used to run the game at 640x480 and I got this error as often as I did when I ran it in 800x600 or 1024x768. I don't think it's a resolution error as I never had it permanently, only sporadically.Reinstalling does not fix it. The only way I personally found to remedy the problem it is by restarting the game (although I never did try changing resolution, since if you run at 640x480 changing while ingame crashes). Since we really don't know the cause of this bug at all, there is no way to have a definitive fix unless EA releases the source. It certainly is a bug in which you wonder what the hell EA did to break it. -------------------- |

Is this maybe related to Hardware?

Same for me, I never had such a strange bug, and I played Z:H on three generations of systems I have already. However, if that bug is indeed caused by faulty programming/incompatible hardware, there is little to no chance to fix it.

I had this problem I can't remember exactly how I fixed this but I think I changed the resolution.
