War...war never changes, but the stories behind them do.

As topic says, I can't seem to play a good medium match against Russia at all.

I play as USA, Russia either stands still or sells out seconds into the game.

Now, I thought it was a difficulty issue, so I try hard mode with China as my army.

Same thing.

Just to be completely sure, I go on easy as Russia vs Russia on Alpine Assult.

It just keeps selling out!

Is this just an isolated problem, or was russian AI not bundled with 1.5's release?

BTW: I did do clean install and clean reinstall to further weed out any potential problems/bugs

Lurk, cleaned and mounted.

Uninstall everything, ZH and whatnot. Clean up registry, use a download manager to download the mod. Make sure you got the installpath correct.

Running CHKDSK/ScanDisk and defragmenting your hard disk will also help...

Russian AI is definitely present. Something else in your folder must be conflicting with it.

It is better to know the problem than to resort to time consuming resources like mentioned above. ROTR has nothing to with the registry or with fragmented data for that part.

Ok, before this gets into an endless thread:
HOW do you start ROTR? Via launcher? If you are of the case of people who can only rename the mod files to play, go into the Data folder and rename Scripts into something else (_Scripts_ for example). If not, uninstall all Zero:Hour, also the folder under EA Games, and the folder under My Documents. Then use CCleaner to wipe out any registry problems. Then reinstall Zero:Hour, patch to 1.04, then install ONLY ROTR 1.5 and the Music Pack.
If you are a user of TFD, I cannot help you, but there are threads for that on this forum too wink.gif

I'm a TFD user yet I don't encounter these problems. There is no change other than directories. Have you patched ZH?

that rare, I use TFD and have never had this problem, if you have partitions on your HDD, or another HDD, install it on the drive that has not been chosen by the program.

I hope you understand me
