Hi.I'm one of the fans of this game, but unfortunately I can't play it normally. After a while it continues at about 1-2 fps.
I had the same problem with the 1.2 but I was hoping that it was solved.Does anybody else have the same problem
Do you know how can I play it normally?
I can imagine how difficult it is to make a mod,but couldn't they first solve that annoying thing?

well it does get laggy at times but thats because of the SAGE engine which is unfixable but if your getting it constantly like that on single player skirmish then thats just your computer not handling the awesomeness of the game as for multiplayer ya its gonna happen but 1-2fps seems way to low to be normal

Try lowering the detail?

What is your PC spec?

Ja, if you're having trouble, it's always good to post the OS you're using, the game version you're playing and the general specifications of your comp. That really helps us pinpoint your problem and saves everyone's time overall.

Here's a good question for you: Have you done a clean install yet? (where you uninstal, then DELETE the folder, than reinstall)

Have you got the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Ja, that's the only advice I can give you based on that limited info. If you've got spare time, try doing one of the above,

Go to Run, type dxdiag and select OK to run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. In the System tab, the first one, you will can see a well-detailed view of your system's information (processor, memory, video card, DirectX version, etc), and see if it passes the ZH's recommended specs...

Now the game doesn't want to start at all duh_worm.gif .Anyway my Pc specs are:Microsoft Windows XP service pack 3,1.8GHz of processor(one core),1GB RAM,video ATI-128MB,HDD-40GB.I am able to play the zero hour at about 20-25fps,so in theory(I'm not a computer expert) I should be able to play RotR at the same speed.Am I right?
I thought the problem was in my computer too,but I tried RotR even on a much more powerful PC but it was the same story. Now I'm going to uninstall it,'cause it doesn't want to start as I've written in the begining.

However after the first play of RotR 1.5 I played it other 2-3 times and I've noticed that after a while playing at 2-3 fps suddenly it "got alive" at 20 fps. huh.gif
