Looks like Command and Conquer is making a bit of a comeback, although the bases seem to be "fixed", kind of like in Halo Wars. -------------------- |

Considering that every single attempt by Petroglyph to make a proper RTS game turned into a realy dissapointing, mediocre at best kind of experience i'm very sceptical that this will be worth anyone's time.
I'll wait for its release and watch some reviews but for now i can say that at least it looks interesting. -------------------- |

Star Wars Empire at War was received very good. Universe at War was awesome. End of Nations was incredibly awesome, but unfortunately turned into shit by Trion Worlds and Grey Goo is not bad at all, though the units and buildings are a little monotonous. |

Looks way too simple for a modern RTS, IMO. Would've preferred Universe at War 2.

Star Wars Empire at War had an okay strategy layer and decent space combat, but absolutely terrible ground combat. Honestly the only reason why it was received well, was Petroglyphs previous credentials of having C&C devs and a desire for a new SW RTS. |

Visually it's appealing given the artistic style they've chosen is akin to something like Advance Wars. However I do not think it'll be anything revolutionary in terms of evolving the RTS genre other than looking like a attempt at a Unity game. Seems like they wanted to make a fun little game for the lols and put it up on steam to be honest. Which is entirely fine.
