The road grinder was the gattling tank before .951. It was available for infantry gen and held 4 troops. Attached File  sshot002.JPG ( 112.21K ) Number of downloads: 82

It was speedy and got away quick. But, we don't want that again, this is why:
Before red gaurd, Attached File  sshot003_1_.JPG ( 113.1K ) Number of downloads: 101

After 3 shots, Attached File  sshot004.JPG ( 113.19K ) Number of downloads: 100

Even though the main weapon is a gatt cannon, it is not good vs. infantry. That concludes the archive.

Agree, I cannot find it in the Fallout Studios old wiki pages.

In birro veritas.

0.92 was the last version the Scud Truck was in. IIRC there's still a cameo of it in the game files.

Those things were beasts at kiting. sad.gif

They may have not had the best model (or the best balance tongue.gif) but they were just so awesome. And yeah, 0.92, in 0.93 they got replaced by the Frog.

I remember from Fallout forums about a hover tank or something for superweapon gen. AFAIK it was removed since it was too powerful and the model was not upto SWR standards? Any idea what it is. I can vaguely remember some one in the dev team mentioning it once. (I should try playing the older versions)

Maybe it would be good if someone who has the sufficient access could post cameos or ingame shots of those units.

Quoting what NergiZed said re: Rage MLRS @ ModDB:

QUOTE
The hover was removed because it was a little too good of a unit. It was a good hit and run, and could basically take on any land vehicle because of it's speed. It also doubled as an arty, as well as an amphibious assault unit.

Plus it looks like a surf board with rockets on it. tongue.gif (model wasn't up to SW standards either...)

...and by AdmiralFCS:

QUOTE
MRLS was deleted, because of its redundancy in modding community.

I couldn't really find a use for it but I loved it anyway, it wasn't until it was gone that I noticed how much I liked it and how cool it was.

I miss the old lockdown. the model might be less cool, but the current lockdown's line of sight is annoying

The current Lockdown's lack of an arc in missile trajectory is incredibly annoying.
