Welcome to a BBC special doccumentary,
Tonight we have a look at the "LuckyFoot" banners that appeared all across Europe during the Russia-European conflict we now call the third world war.

The Battle for Orleans Milan and the most crushing one yet Paris had all been lost.Europe had tasted the blood pooling in its mouth. On trembling knees it was seen that the proud lion of Europe was only able to kitten paw the might of the Russian bear.

The SAP however unaligned in the war swayed towards Russia.Calling out of the United States on its intervention in the war as a lost cause to both save the ECA from avoiding its hands bloodied with warcrimes and its last bet on becoming relevant in the second golden age of the east.

Russian Justice or the Red tide
What ever you called it, one thing was certain. The sick Lion had vultures flying above it.

With the The Battle of Ramsgate ending with shores defended It was clear that a time for a counter attack had come."The best offence was a best defense" was something that General Charles disagreed with his German Counterpart Wolfgang.

But with things looking dire and the risk of another invasion fleet gaining ground was too great. With the Americans yet to escalate their operations from denying covert ops and intelligence sharing to a full on military support. The rumors of a counter attack was just mist among men, only in a year or so to come would the word "Charlemagne" be heard.

Either way, Charles accepted the choice to send a forward expedition force to Europe.Morely to France where the French soldiers were scattered all across France after the fall of Paris.

Paris, the city of lights now under a flag of another invading force. It was a huge blow to morale from Picardy to Riviers.Alas forward strike force was requisitioned to be lead under the two star General Glyn.Young as he may have been at the time, Charles knew no man better for the job looking at the records and past exploits to be perfect for this task at hand.Atleast the best they could do given the limited resources. With the Queens Royal blessings the forces left to reach the shores of France.

With France captured Aleksander knew his history well.He knew that the Americans would one day join the fight. As mad as people might say he is to be he was still a genius none the less. There was no doubt join the fight, not a matter of how but when.He knew that the Americans high chinned tall pride, the mentality of being the "Worlds Police force" was something that they yearned for again. To be the dominant force as they were in their so called "post cold war Golden Age" Their bravado would definitely lead them to repeat the famous Invasion of Normandy, to inspire even more bravado from the young and foolish nation of fragmented little states.Henceforth Normandy was reinforced, prepared for an attack, General Glyn was wise enough to trust his reports and not gamble the mission and the lives under him.

Vendée was chosen to make a landing, with the French airbase to the north in Britanny being the area to rally the broken pockets of French forces in the area.

Now we're back to our documentary on "Luckyfoot" the banner of hope.

Here's where the real tale begins;

Europe had fallen into despair.Where there was once one voice loud and fearsome uttering one word. Now it was a continent of many pleas of mercy and screams of pain.Paris had fallen...Paris....The Most touristicly visited city on earth was now being visited by Russians. Many historical and cultural landmarks were destroyed the lucky ones were just damaged. The banner of France was punctured and ripped apart.

Amongst the chaos of the war and the garments inability to fend for all of its people, factions grew to fill in the power vaccum. The whispers of nationalism turned into clashing loud noise.People had last its faith in the ECA, lost its faith to the idea of Europe as a whole.Closest thing to this was the fall of the European Union earlier in the century.People were afraid of war, both sides had done terrible things but said many things worse. As with all wars the truth was a forgotten cassulty. In this the French people didn't know what or who to believe anymore, they were tired and broken till General Glyn's forces came about.

Leading a convoy of armored Lynx APC's with an escort of Wotans that quickly made short work of a patrol wing of hellions that came too close. The British came forth with supplies and aid to the people.Yet there was still a stigma a cloud of mistrust between the locals and the new forigners. They were allys to them before the war but where were they till this point? Till now? Why couldn't they have come sooner? The feelings of grief anger with a mix of despair had overtaken the French.General Glyn had expected this, for this he had packed a few boxes too many of his favorite candy. The American made Skittles, this would certainly ease tensions as children would jump at the chance to taste something sweet in their mouths.

As much of a success as it was General Glyn knew he couldn't retake France on his own. That was never his objective after all.The effect of spreading candy amongst other rare or now rare tastes didn't win much favor of the French who saw most of the world as uncullinary savages that would'nt know taste. As for him he just wanted an elevated position to fortify and rally the French army.He had made it there in a quick time. The enemy did not care or didn't spread so thin oppose them.
Suıch and so a bright French vocalist named Gaëtan had seen how quick and kind this new General was.He saw him as a savior of sorts, one to him might retake France! Overnight he had the inspiration of drawing the British forces as a hare, specifically the English loop. One that wore the attire of a British uniform but with the colors of the ECA.

Its still debated on what his name was or who came up with it but historians believe the first and most commonly used term was "Luckyfoot"

A testament to General Glyn and his forces who were there to revitalize the will of the people and give them hope.

With headquarters established a new wave of Pegasus transports were sent in from UK's shores to the makeshift deployment zones of Britanny that was scavenged out of the Airforce base there.

The transports with a callsign "Schooner" refueled at the airport. With the orders to land at a nearby village and give out supplies and aid.
All was well and the people were overjoyed, welcoming them into their houses.Thats when the Image was first seen.A couple of young teenagers spreypainted the Image to one of the helicopters side.Thats how it spread according to the locals when interviewed.

Within the week there were more aid missions to nearby villages.
"Schooner" wing had made way village to village getting closer to the Russian controlled areas.Word got out across France that the "LuckyFoot" was here, or that it was there to help/save them.Expecting this to be some sort of codename for a rumored experimental weapon the Russians had increased aerial patrols of the area.Schooner wing was landed in another village when five hinds flew in from the horrizon. The spew of gunfire punished the earth and rockets rained fire on the once fertile farmland.Schooner's personnel dashed to arm and respond with STARSTREAK manpads but it had seemed too late.General Glyn was informed of the attack but no ground force could reach them in time. The handful of harriers under his command could get there in time, possibly but they weren't as "lowkey" as the Pegasus helicopters were and could easily be shot down by Grumbles. He was out of options...Asking The Americans would take too long and may have diplomatic consequences.

Schooner wing was a barely armed aid convoy get slaughtered as they were compromised.

All he could do was listen to the screams on the radio.
"Nice shot another down but they are coming in for blood third run! Cover your arses! Archie throw me a streak quick! "

Archie threw the STARSTREAK but it fell too short, the Hinds were closing in for another run.Till a young kid whos said to be a teenager dashed out of cover and ran to the piece trying to get it to the man.
"Mate what are you doing-Go back to your-
Yelling on the bottom of his lungs and pacing heart. With the missile in his hands the girl yelled.
"VIVA LA FRANCE" Throwing it to the soldier before getting shredded by blind gunfire.

"Bloody hell! Archie Make that shot count! Wait...Whats That?"
General Glyn arched closer to the radio
"More Gunship's! They have reinforcements! Wait...They Are firing on the hinds, What's going on?! Wait those arent Hellions those are.....Thoose Are Tigers!"

The General couldn't believe what he was hearing, apparently the missing inventory of Tiger gunship's from the airfield had gone into hiding.Schooner' wings hide wasn't cooked. With the hinds now burning wrecks on the ground, this area would be fertile farmland once again.
"This is Schooner one, we are returning to base with our French buddies, put some tea on the pot"

Afterwards they all returned to the airbase, hearing of a Russian defeat. No matter how minor the deserters of French army's started to appear at the base.Coming from nearby provinces with vigor to quell back the invaders. As the Continental Army has decided in favor of the French 'Felin' programme when it came to choosing a standardised infantry doctrine for the joint European task force, most of these soldiers had FELIN equipment on them.
Some Sources say these soldiers had with them Exosuit equipment or access to a stockpile.
The luckyfoots speed was later accredited to their early adoption and implementation of the Venom Program.

From that day on General Glyn who had hopes and expectations of being called "Skittles" as he was said to be a sweet general had the banners of "Luckyfoot" on his forces. From tanks to planes...There Has even been unconfirmed reports of him making every soldier have a rabbits foot on him mandatory.Or the Exosuits own boots to be customized to leave tracks like a hare.Thou some connect these dots of unexplained huge hare footprints to General Glyn asking the Venom Valkyre and the Venom Vikings under his command to "Look less intimidating. To have the Lucky foot charm" Researchers speculate that these venom's indeed had big ears attached onto them and have their armored boots customized.A special marking of the "LuckyFoot" company.
The sign of resistance and the unofficial symbol of Europes people. The one voice had been restored over the war as the banner had become a symbol across Belgium Italy and Germany where the German resistance drew Hares on walls to mark zones.

The resistance started to use it france first then it spread all across.A symbol a hope a cry out that they were not dead, they were not defeated. That they europe would Never Fall.
Nearly a century ago "Keep calm and Carry on" was an unexpected success that spread across England, now It was "LuckyFoot" the Hare that gave adults hope and children glee to continue the job.

As for General "LuckyFoot" himself, threes a Statue dedicated to him in France. His whereabouts are unknown. Its unclear what happened to him, people mentioned he died in the great war.Others say his wife was a gla sleeper agent that got infected with a strain of Anthrax disease and had to retire after the scandal.Taking his wife to a Villa in Morroco to live out their lives.

Whether heese are true or not, Is a story another time.

What evers happened to him, the "LuckyFoot" Company stands ready to serve the ECA for many days to come.

This was a BBC BBC Special doccumentary on LuckyFoot
