As war was approaching its end, there were leaks here and there of all sorts of oddities.
One of them being Mastodon Siege Chopper, ridiculed for numbers of reasons by "experts" all over the internet
from places that were not affected by the war to the point where someone can't sit down and leave angry comments on the internet.
Leaks of that unused prototype flying artillery did exactly
what was their purpose - shifting focus out of Mil's contender for air mobile artillery platform that was already in its testing phase.
Little too late was when it entered its limited service, since war already ended.
Then there were number of treaties Russia had to sign after war, meaning this helicopter didn't saw much of the use withing Russian Forces.
This aircraft saw action for the first time years after war, and in hands of militaries of rich third world nations, using it as a ideal
artillery piece for use on rugged mountainous terrain.

Every piece is equipped with machine gun for self defence which can be used while in flight.
There are two customizable pylons which usually carry one of the latest Iskander missile each,
mostly equipped with thermobaric warheds, and specifically designed version of 9A52-4 Tornado
missile launcher with four tubes on each pylon.
This helicopter is also unique in a way that it doesn't posses any conventional wheels nor skids,
rather mechanical claw, that can rotate helicopter while deployed, making acquiring of targets far more convenient.
It is worth noting that main rotor is foldable.
