While watching the lateat stream, something caught my interest, maybe I didn't notice it from before.
Did Hijackers and terrorists get buffed via Caumoflage upgrade? Will we have them constantly stealthed after this upgrade? -------------------- Not a Rusty Spoon........The_Hunter uses a goddamn wooden spoon on his AI Scripters.... |

Will we have them constantly stealthed after this upgrade? Yes they did, Hijackers now start as unstealthed default and only appear when they are in close range of the foe after the upgrade, otherwise they're stealthed. But if you have lets say a tesla tank that isnt flanked, that hijackers still ash.The terrorist is only stealthed while not moving after the upgrade....No big deal guys, at most its like a weaker mobile demo trap -------------------- |

In case of hijackers, it was a rebalance, not buff. They were made completely visible on tier 0 (and invisible both on the move and standing when camouflage upgrade is bought), because there is no stealth detection on tier 0, and hijacker rush was devastating against Russia for example, wihtout a clear counter.

QUOTE ^Well other then china ofc, cause troopcrawlers are awsome Depends on luck and micro. Dont tell me that troop crawler would be a 1st thing you would produce from war factory. And hijacker rush could be in enemy base before they have 1st unit from war factory ready. And troop crawlers in 1.85 are produced empty, anyway. -------------------- Printing Quadcannons.

Third or fourth mostly There's still the Listening Outpost which doesn't use the War Factory production line. Don't detect stealth anymore. Don't detect stealth anymore. What the legit fuck, now that is gamechanging. Did I miss it in some update? Would be totally great and grateful if the Troop Crawler scanning upgrade could bring that back. -------------------- And then...

By the way, I think they have to be manually deployed, according to streams. Anybody can confirm?

By the way, I think they have to be manually deployed, according to streams. Anybody can confirm? As if branching the MSA off from the LIstening Outpost and taking away its fireports are not enough... I know the team is turning up CHN's spam meter by snipping off minor tactical branches, but this is simply debilitating. CHN is really gradually more like C&C1's left-mouse-button-masher-type GDI. Shit, I'm not only ranting but started whining too! -------------------- And then...

QUOTE Dogs don't detect infantry / mines anymore? That's a shame. They do. I was talking about the long range scanning abilities: spy plane, GPS scan, sattelite scan from USA arent revealing stealth units anymore. -------------------- Printing Quadcannons.

Dogs don't detect infantry / mines anymore? That's a shame. What makes you think that? Dogs are INFANTRY (albeit canine) WITHOUT STEALTH-DETECTING ABILITIES THAT REQUIRE ACTIVATION, as their stealth detection is INNATE. This post has been edited by Bergzak: 9 Sep 2014, 10:18 |
