i know its 5 days late, but here is a funny and embarrassing Halloween story

Halloween here starts at 6 pm, so at 5:30, my mother says to put the candy table in the front yard even though i complain that almost no one is out front for candy, and that every one is by the backyard were the main road is. So to make the best of a bad situation, i did what i had already planned and hide in the bushes to scare people. i did everything from jumping out of the bushes to whispering which candy to get while remaining hidden. i did this for the next hour. only then does mom allow me to move the candy table out back. im there for another hour giving out candy. but while im out there, 2 kids who looked to about 9 were constantly trying to get more candy. they weren't stupid on there tactics either. they did everything from 1 distracting me while the other snatched the candy to charging and trying to take it by force. at 8:00 i figure most people are done so i put the candy basket on the table and lift it onto my right shoulder, i was carefully watching the 2 kids who were patiently waiting on the sidewalk planning their next move. im about halfway home when they launch their attack. now because im carrying a table with a basket of candy on top, i cant see on my right side, and thats were they pushed me were i fell right on my ass, by the time i stand up the've ran off with the basket and whatever candy didnt fall onto the ground.

my excuse as to how two 9 year olds managed to push me, a 160 pound 15 year old is the table i was carrying and they had the element of surpise
