So, recently I acquired Stellaris from a good friend, and have been having a blast with it.
Any others here who play it? For those of you who don't know what it is, its a grand strategy set in the galactic throes of space. You form an interstellar empire and manage it, even being able to create your own unique race and society.
Its quite a fun game; and its surprisingly easy to catch on with. It can run very well on older computers too, which is the great part about it; as its not to graphically intensive. (But its still quite a beautiful game none the less.)
I played a bit as rational, individualististic xenophile and while the beginning was fun - all that star exploring and events, but after i colonized the 8th planet the game turned into a most boring tedium.
It is good , but not as good as other paradox games, as it lacks the depth of other games(which was expected and not bad at all). After some patches and DLCs it will probably be a really good game. It is worth it? Yes, but I would wait to get it a year or so as that is when the game would truly stand out
