So let the Party start

The moon from Bombay City.

Posted by: Rayburn 3 Jun 2009, 22:22

Aye, it's the Prophet. Good to have you back!

That's a nice photo you've got there.
It's simple but also very beautiful in a subtle way.
The moon must have been quite close that night.

Posted by: Prophet of the Pimps 3 Jun 2009, 22:32

Not really. It was a cloudy night and there were tree in the filed of view. had to take 10 shots before i got it perfect.
I liked this Tree growing in the middle of a Closed of Textile mill in the Middle of Bombay City.
This was a very far off shot and i was really struggling to get a good comprehension. Still though i like it because of the colours.

I like it because everything is in focus as it should be, its light well and even though the playing cards have a lot of reflective surface i managed to handle them better theni could ever hoped for.

And finally fun with some toys

Feel like digging up my old Aircraft models and do a shoot with them.

lol, golden cards?
nice shot!

s.th. I've made for a school project:

Thanks, but really just niche shots of a sunset D:

arctic lol, that is a funny comparison D: (to me at least.) Have you noticed the time-stamp on it? Which does ruin the pic, but I just forgot to take it off in the options of the camera :S

and it was taken here;

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=48.694813,-123.380241&daddr=&hl=en&geocode=&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=13&sll=48.697532,-123.347626&sspn=0.076139,0.20256&ie=UTF8&t=p&ll=48.716337,-122.744751&spn=1.007565,2.625732&z=9

Looking East from a ferry towards Mt Baker.

Posted by: silence 11 Jun 2009, 6:10

hmm. actually, i didnt saw the freaking time stamp because the page loaded prematurely. I only saw it when I reloaded the page. Yeh, it ruins the pic.

you should have focused on that 'animal' toy thing.

and your avatar is updated now.

Posted by: Lord Atlantis 25 Jun 2009, 2:07

I took this picture while I was walking my aunt's dogs down in Henderson, which is outside of Las Vegas. Nabbed it with my Camera on my phone cause I left my camera back at the house, but I think it turned out just fine without it smile.gif

EDIT: My bad, I just know where you took those pictures, but didn't know you were a resident of the Philipines. Hehe smile.gif

I Spot this two making lvoe:

The Sky again:

BTW, nice shot's everyone.

Posted by: Prophet of the Pimps 29 Jun 2009, 13:43

Why are the images so grainy in the first 2?
The 3 pick is good
The last pic would have been better if the sun was taken into the picture in the right top corner.

Posted by: silence 29 Jun 2009, 15:42

i didnt bother editing the first 2 images thats why its grainy, as for the last pic, i didnt spot sun at that time.

Camera shake is a bitch.

Nightshots definitely require more skill, and a lot of patience. I read about one photographer for a car brochure who spent 6 hours to waiting for "the perfect composition" - that one shot - when the light was just right.

Posted by: partyzanPaulZy 12 Sep 2009, 18:03

Sad my parents either I don't have camera good for night shots,
but some photos aren't IMHO that bad cool_worm.gif

I need better camera even because of taking pictures of my 200l aquarium with golden barbs (they are blurred unless I use "flashlight").
RIP gouramis... :-/

Before...

After...

So there was this really large and beautiful tree on the campus of E&H College, and they decided to cut it down in order to make room to build a new building (an arts center I believe)... the whole thing happened over this summer (except for the actual building, they still haven't started on that yet...)
