Well, since Fraps is NOT freeware... >.<
Any alternatives? -------------------- Hello, comrades.
Before I start, I must ask one question: how do you think battles are won? If you answered "It just take a lot of men", then I may suggest you to leave the academy. Why will I say that? It is because battles are not won just by simply shooting down your enemies: it also takes emotions to fight a battle. Hope, courage, pride, honor, love: these are the main emotions that it takes to win a battle. Yes, your equipment, your skills, and your genetics are very important, but it all boils down to one thing: Do you have the WILL to fight? Class is dismissed. WARNING: Watching this may result in losing your manliness. Yep: I'm a rusty sword. VERY rusty. :/ |

I haven't heard the words freeware and shareware since like vanilla Doom.
And no, there isn't any other option. Unless you want to have an ugly watermark getting in the way or only recording 12 second long videos. -------------------- |

When I asked in this thread what was the font used in the in-game/menu interfaces in Call of Duty 4, which was AF Battersea as I've found out, it nearly gave me this when it turned out to be that kind of font was EXCLUSIVELY COMMERCIAL (US$50-120 IIRC) AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ANY FREE VERSIONS AVAILABLE.
And no, there isn't any other option. Unless you want to have an ugly watermark getting in the way or only recording 12 second long videos. Fraps, in its free edition, can record up to 30 seconds of videos at a time AFAIK. There's Game Cam, which also has a limited feature, free version, and should cost you 30 bucks if you're gonna opt for a full version of it. And BTW, again, there's no such thing as a game recording software as a freeware available, to date at least. -------------------- "Not in mood...go away..." If you are using XFire, it has a video capture feature.
