Nuke Overlords without the missile upgrade (so straight or with prop tower) appear fire their main cannons at infantry but do not shoots shells at all. Reported here already.

Decoy drones cannot be forced fired upon when disguised by the enemy and can run over enemy infantry (extremely imbalanced when playing against GLA as you can run over all their workers). They should be unable to run over infantry like all of the other drones (bar the Drone tank, of course), and you should be able to force fire upon them like you can to bomb trucks.

Perhaps more to come, but both of these are quite gamebreaking.

Hi, I listed several random bugs which I noticed in Shockwave 1.1 in a separate thread, and I think this one is probably the most gamebreaking of the ones I noticed - it's also been around as long as the original Zero Hour release, so it may have been reported by now - I hope it's fixable:

When playing as the GLA, if a game is saved, exited, and loaded - then all of the player's Workers will be considered "idle", even those which are moving or gathering supplies. This means that clicking the Idle Worker button will select any of the player's Workers, even those that are not idle, which causes great inconvenience. The only way to solve this problem is to have a moving worker stop moving, then return it to moving/gathering supplies (at this point it will be counted as non-idle again).

This one's especially bad, because as the GLA you'll likely have 10+ workers on the map at once (versus 2-3 dozers as the other factions), so trying to find a single idle worker is even more of a chore due to this glitch.

In Leang's Challenge map, if you capture a lone command center to the east in the middle of the map, you can build her technology. However, it appears the Buratinos cannot exit the war factory, and will never move. You need to force fire on it to restore normal war factory behavior. This might be a messed up map.ini.

Are you supposed to be able to load up Siege Soldiers in fireported transports? Because you can load them in the overlord's bunker.

Random Crashes and more in General's Challenge

Only the Laser General's Hellfire drones can be fired upon. No other slaved drone. According to a changelog, this was intentional (except for the hellfire drone). This should be reversed however, as it is can be imbalanced in certain situations, and has it's own bug.

NUKE GENERAL OVERLORD BUG FIX

Alrighty, so this has not been extensively tested yet. But it is a simple fix and should completely eliminate the Nuke Generals Overlord Glitch, his overlords will now correctly shoot at infantry and apply their AOE radiation on shell hit.

INSTRUCTIONS:

-Download the zip file (_Shw_ini.zip unless you are recompiling the big file).
-Unzip it to somewhere or directly to your General Zero Hour Directory. (Default directory: C:\Program Files\EA\Command & Conquer™ Generals Zero Hour\)
-It must over-write the original !Shw_ini.gib (I recommend backing up your original one in a different folder.)


I do not claim any rights, as all the code and material is SWR's, I have merely re-arranged some code to correct a targeting issue.
The code edited only affects NukeGeneral.ini, which means the rest of the game is completely unchanged and you will not see any difference unless a Nuke General is present.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

-If you are planning on playing with someone, and use this- everyone must use it for the game to accept it.
-This fix is solely based off CnC Generals Shockwave 1.1, you will need that version for this to be effective.
-I am not going to provide any official support, if it doesn't work- I'm sorry, I can take a look at whats happening but no guarantees.

-This should not break any save games, (it may not apply correctly to save games, warning.)
-You will need to exit generals before applying this

-I have included the changed NukeGeneral.ini for those that wish to use it seperately, or recompile the .big file themselves.

Bug Report. Vanilla GLA & Prince Kassads Rocket Buggy Extra Salvage Armor Upgrade not visible when building a new Buggy. only appears on Present ones. this should be fix somehow.

Also Prince Kassads Rocket Buggy does not start as Veterans at Arms Dealer or Recon Vehicle Training does not Affect his Rocket Buggies is it a bug

That's an intentional design, not a bug. I believe he can get them by cross-teching with another GLA faction, but he's not supposed to have them by default (just like Deathstrike can only get Anthrax Beta by cross-teching, and Fai can only get Anti-Tank shells for his Infernos by cross-teching with vChina, etc).

The ZH Overlords & ROTR Overlords can Shoot at Infantry with their Main Cannons. Why Can't The Shockwave Overlords Shoot at Infantry with Their Main Cannons. Is it a Bug?

There's a bug where Nuke General's Overlords can't shoot infantry with their cannons unless they've purchased the Tactical Nuclear Rockets upgrade - I wasn't aware there was a similar bug with the other factions' Overlords.

Not sure if it was mentioned:

General Ironside's strategy center set to Bombardment does not attack at all. I'm still not sure if Search and Destroy reveals stealth as it never did in my games.
This happens in GC ironside vs thrax.

Not sure if the mod will ever recieve a much needed official update, but I figured I'd post it here anyway
