the main Fuselage looks good sofar.
Are you using a blue print to make it ? If not i'd highly recommend it as it makes the whole process alot easier. -------------------- |

It can, 3ds max 7 or 8 is pretty old.. 3ds max has more stuff and makes skinning a lot simpler and easier..
I made the wing! What would you guys make different? |

EDIT: I think it's finished, not very happy with the part where the exhaust will be so I'll work on it.
Polygons: 976 (It still has some hidden faces so it will probably be around 900) This post has been edited by Oliver: 10 Sep 2014, 16:27 |

looks pretty good sofar altho you might want to mess around abit with those smooth groups.
Also 900 polygons is pretty good for a plane of that size. -------------------- |

The wings and the pointy things in the back of the wings? Or are you referring to something else? This post has been edited by Oliver: 10 Sep 2014, 19:07 |

I can't realy tell it just looks abit odd specialy around the edges of the wings and those intakes.
It kinda gives me the feeling i'm looking at an inflatable aircraft toy rather than an actual airplane -------------------- |

Perhaps a good skin will hide it or actually make it look good? Anyway I think I know what you were meaning, I think I fix it, but I am not sure... I'll post a Sketchfab link of it.
And I edited the fuselage for an easier skinning Sketchfab Victor |

A la scorpio? It is intended to be used for a campaign mission.

I have not decided yet what the role it will have in the mission... And i finally started making the skin
My very first skin actually (with some pieces of SWR work) I am not very happy with the windows and the lines of the fuselage, but is kinda hard to replicate other people work. This post has been edited by Oliver: 16 Sep 2014, 20:45 |

That's looking good so far
Tone down the black on the green tinted windows though, implies some exaggerated depth. Keep at it good sir! -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

Then i would recommend getting photoshop CS2 (it is freeware now a days).
Its pretty much the industry standard when it comes to image manipulation and photo editing -------------------- |

An update if you don't mind, since I want this to be in ECA style as closest as posible.. So feel free to criticise (constructive ones pls)
