Being in high school and all, I really do want to try new things, and see what I'm good at.
Recently, I downloaded 3ds max for free as a student (ahahahaha u wish u were young now) and started making models. I made a crappy plane, but it was a start ^^ I was just wondering if there was anything like tutorials, or maybe some tips and advice. Maybe i could even start a mod for Generals! (yeah, thats probably not gonna happen :c ) Thanks -------------------- |

Got a few tips here.
1) Start modeling simple objects like tanks or cars from blueprints. Get them at http://www.the-blueprints.com 2) Check out a few video tutorials on YouTube. That helped me a lot too. 3) For more advanced tutorials, have a look at: https://tutsplus.com/tutorials/?q=true&filter_topic=83 (There are some simple tuts there too) 4) Keep practicing. If you need more help, you can drop me a PM. Who knows? Maybe I need help on my mod :hinthint: -------------------- Visit our ModDB |
