After a few months of trying to work with the Worldbuilder I decided to try my hand at mapping as I'm currently editing some maps to be more involved with ROTR gameplay. Anyway my first work is an edit of the popular 6p map Defcon 6. With the release of 1.85 it suffered a little but it was always designated as a 'take middle or die map'. My edit hopes to rectify that whilst making the middle attractive amongst other things.
Features: -Setting is now night time (will revert if needed) -All players now start with 1 60 dock and 1 oil -Middle players now have a better build space due to reposition of supplies -Civilian cars have been added so GLA players can indulge in some trickey -The centre now contains a Tech Armoury instead of an Oil Refinery! (The x2 15k large supplies remains) -The side valleys in between players now contain 1 Tech Reinforcement Pad and 1 Repair Bay -The outer ravines for the side players now contain a few small supplies an an Oil Derrick for players to fight over -And some misc fixes All feedback and suggestions are welcome.
