Okay, I'll admit I'm a little OCD. I like my game to run at min speed. However, when I save a skirmish battle (which is the first thing I do), then load that saved game, it will be moving considerably faster.
1) Can I prevent this? 2) If not, can I slow the game speed in-game? Thanks! LOVING 1.86 & 1.87 by the way. |

Im not sure if it can be prevented but game speed is locked to FPS, If its going too fast.
Just create lag or play with an extra AI  That should freeze things up.Ironically people complain of it being too slow not too fast so this is an uncommon complaint.

IIRC All saved games have their FPS locked at 30 no matter what settings you had before starting the game. Same thing happens with Maximum game speed. I don't think there's anyway to prevent this.
