This is 4th DLC and much better. The location is call Point Lookout, Maryland with Swampland.
Of course, the bombs didn't actually fall this new location. Dark, creepy, and very scary. Here is Point Lookout Trailer. -------------------- Let's kick this Russian Tank's ass back to the Bronze Age! Twitch Chart ID: Mr_kim82 Moddb ID: Mr_Kim |

I just can't get back into Fallout 3, and I haven't even covered half of it yet after completing the game.
I might look into this DLC, however, as the environments look like a breath of fresh air from what you are used to. -------------------- |

I got tired of the scenery in Fallout 3 in just a couple hours. This should have been an area in the game although it would not make much sense.

Well, at this point the only reason I play Fallout 3 is me messing around with the console commands and spawning hoards of random shit against hoards of other random shit and then nuking them when I get bored. I think Point Lookout will offer me new stuff for me to put against my Mechanist army.

Sounds interesting, though the interview (like most interviews) didn't really reveal anything. Oh well, only another two weeks before this thing is released. -------------------- |

Point Lookout is out guys.
Got it. Played it. Finished it. How was it? To be Frank, not as awesome as broken steel, or the Pitt. Swamps are cool, but it's not as atmospheric as the Pitt. Weapons are pretty 'meh', cept maybe the last one. Though I am enjoying the Microwave Emitter, which vaporizes and explodes people. I like the confederate hat too, but only because it complement's my 'The Hat of the People'. Characters and story is pretty interesting, but it's not clearly better than any of the other quests and stories in Fallout 3, though there are considerably more twists that you'd likely not suspect. Point Lookout has the biggest area when compared to the other expansions. However, Point Lookout is a high level area, and do you seriously do that much exploring once you've gotten past level 27? Not Really. Do I think this is worth 10 bucks? It depends. I'm a fan of the game, so yes, but you need to be a little less then totally maxed out in terms of level, stats and gear to have the incentive to explore and thus enjoy this DLC to the fullest. Now I humbly await for Mothership Zeta. -------------------- |

Same here. For me, I finished this DLC over 6 hours with 5 main quests and 5 side quests.
Mostly interesting is new weapon in DLC. I love new Double-barrel shotgun and awesome. And now, I can't wait for Mothership Zeta until release this late July. Possible release about July 21th or July 28th. -------------------- Let's kick this Russian Tank's ass back to the Bronze Age! Twitch Chart ID: Mr_kim82 Moddb ID: Mr_Kim |
