The rule of cool always prevails in C&C. Many things are outdated but that doesn't mean they should go away now should it?

Yes, I guess I was just basing it off the cave painting of a picture that Jester posted.

Well the Red Guards are armed with bolt-action rifles (like a Mosin-Nagant), which doesn't mean that it would be "unrealistically outdated"... anyway, rifle grenades should be great ability for them...

They are rifle grenades yes and their not realy outdated or anything alot of armies still use them today however most more developed armies have been replacing them with attached grenaded launchers under the barrel since the setup time to prepare a rifle to fire a rifle grenade makes the soldier vunerble durring that time which is not the case with a attached grenade launcher. -------------------- |

The video feed is just awesome.
I like the way you've made the gameplay new and fresh. A few thoughts on things i want to point out that have impressed me: -Just great the visual effects: geyser and waterfall are AWESOME -The blackout node: just great the pop up effect. i really support the_hunter's idea of stealthness to make it more viable against AI skirmish: this way russia would have three intelligence options: nodes, satellite sweep, and spy missile. interesting options in an area where russia lacked a lot. -the tomahawk are really an interesting option, short range tracking artillery and long range possible hit&run arty. -The crusader are noe rally a force to be reckoned with, fast attack with the not-seen-but-early-mentioned slopes-down option, and you've made it very different from paladins that are now elite multipurpose tank. -Am i wrong or you have improved and speed up the turn animation of sentinels? -Did you remove the igla pod upgrade for hind gunship? The reason to play Orlov is IT, i don't want IT to change, please. -Great!! the armour reserve power: the AT missile for T-64, the BRDM-1 just pure awesomeness. I only think that a 4 mins power could use "more power", 3 of each vehicle would be fine, but this is just my opinion and tha balance team will do the job. -The satellite scan (this is a real unique in mods/games world, inspired by the Novax) is a fantastic addiction tactically speaking, and at the third level recharge in just 30 secs after the 2 mins utilization!!! I althoug think it could use some more altitude if it's possible, and actually i think it looks a little weird. -The nuke cannon: you've just realized one my dream: a deployed auto-engaging nuke cannon. the effect is fantastic and the emp it's a nice addiction to block vehicles based large assault in choke points. -The blackhawks, here SWR team has been forced by SAGE to compromise, but unlike other mods they choose to implement a weapon, a choice that force me to love them more and more. You are number one |

its true people think that rifle granades and bolt action rifles are a bit out dated but that dosent mean we should do away with them the red gaurd needs a granade function it would make more sense

With all of those great things you all showed us. Like:
1. The waterfalls and geysers you added is a great sight to watch, especially when you are waiting for the enemy to attack or waiting for your funds to go up. (I wonder where that volcano is hm.) 2. The Satellite Scan ability is even more worth to spend the point on. You made the ability to make the player control it to where he/she wants it to be. I like the part when the satellite deploys, even though its really low for a satellite to be in and that's just weird...well reality sometimes does not apply to these kind of games, right? 3. The Blackhawk is just fascinating, I like it very much. 4. The Nuke Cannon my favourite unit in ZH you've improved it, I like the gigantic range, explosion, and power of this unit. 5. And all the other additions: Absolutely Magnificent!!! Two words that I could best describe it. And after I saw the video, it gave me the determination to wait longer, it is absolutely worth it. SWR Productions Team you rock and keep up the good work! -------------------- |

Why not using drones is such a big deal? They aren't even playing seriously.
