I know that the cargo planes from the drop for USA is invincible, but i'd rather have it to be destructible.
I was playing single-player skirmish when an ally launched a nuclear missle and it hit the cargo plane, right on the enemy's base (wat r the chances right?) What's the point of making it invincible anyways? you could always limit the exp pts gain from killing it cant u? |

I believe they are like that so that they are not targetted by AA defenses.

I believe they are like that so that they are not targetted by AA defenses. That's precisely the reason. You could potentially bog up a players anti air defenses with useless planes and use them to your advantage. This isn't a strategy I would suggest but, certainty adds in as a factor. -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome ![]() |

It's also annoying to keep hearing "Unit lost" when those planes flew into enemy base and got destroyed.

All those reasons + when an US player is in the middle of a big map, it would be possible to shoot the planes down so his second economy gets crippled which would be unfair. Or so I think.

I think making AA not targeting them is very good. Its a real pain in the a$$ when your AA target supply planes instead of real threats to the base.

Allright, i guess my idea is a bad idea >_>
