Yes, here as well. It's just that it happens it's also Orthodox Easter.
If anyone is celebrating it, than Happy Worker's Day, as well. -------------------- |

Hunted my eggs four weeks ago. Why do you celebrate easter so late? Because it's orthodox Easter. In my family we celebrate 2 Easters. Catholic and orthodox. This post has been edited by Mirrowel: 2 May 2016, 0:17 -------------------- |

Hunted my eggs four weeks ago. Why do you celebrate easter so late? Well, it's kinda complicated. Serbian Orthodox Church (as well as Russian, Ethiopian, Jerusalem Patriarchate, Mount Atos, I'm not sure if I missed beyond else) uses Julian Calendar (13 days of difference), but that's not the whole difference. For example, there are times when both Julian and Georgian calendar Easter are on the same day (this will happen in 2017). It also has to do with the fact that Eater is always celebrated on Sunday. That's just one reason why it's never on the same date as the last year or the year before. This post has been edited by 3rdShockArmy: 2 May 2016, 8:25 -------------------- |
