The sixth installment of the Submachine series is now out:
6: The Edge For those who are not familiar with the series: it's a point-and-click escape-the-room style puzzle game and of the best flash games series on the internet in my opinion. If you want to get acquainted with the series, preferably play it in the proper order: 0: Ancient Adventure 1: The Basement 2: The Lighthouse 3: The Loop 4: The Lab 5: The Root Some are short, others are very long; some are easy, others can be very difficult. But all the games are worth it IMO. If you haven't yet, check this series out . -------------------- TN

I've always been to dumb for these Games, I only found one Tongue and a Lighter in the first one and don't know how to advance. XD
Where the Tongue is going is obvious, but the Lighter doesn't help me. - E.V.E. EDIT: Nevermind, I completed the first one! Was Entertaining. ^^ This post has been edited by E.V.E.: 16 Oct 2009, 20:47 -------------------- |

Completed the first two, first one wasn't too challenging but the second one was awesome. Most stuff wasn't that hard but the spoon really got me XD. Also LOL @ the letter.

I've always been to dumb for these Games, I only found one Tongue and a Lighter in the first one and don't know how to advance. XD It says "tongue1" probably which implies there is a second one . There are only three screens you can access so you just need to look in them .Where the Tongue is going is obvious, but the Lighter doesn't help me. - E.V.E. EDIT: Nevermind, I completed the first one! Was Entertaining. ^^ EDIT: sorry, I completely overlooked the edit: the pink is kinda badly visible against the background . I'm stuck at the pacman jewels part of the first one =( You're overlooking an item in one of the rooms which you need to progress further. I even know which one you need because I had to look for it for a while, too . When you see it it's quite obvious, though.I got all 3 but I'm clueless to what to do next. Completed the first two, first one wasn't too challenging but the second one was awesome. Most stuff wasn't that hard but the spoon really got me XD. Also LOL @ the letter. Heheheheh, yeah, part 2 is quite hard at times but one of the most atmospheric ones too .EDIT: also, if you REALLY get stuck, you can always click the "walkthrough" link at the bottom - though I suggest you try not to use it too often . I finished the first game a while back. Reminds me of the ruins I've visited here in South America minus the cold air flows and mildew from the wet walls. Also no arachnids.
Thankfully though no death traps. -------------------- |

Finished the third one (2: The Lighthouse) now. Very intriguing and it has a bit of a backstory now, a rather hilarious one I might add . I also have to admit having used the walkthrough 3 times. One secret and two other things were just too hideously hidden.
