Harrier Chaffs?, How do they actually work? |

I don't think the chaffs work as intended. I usually activate them before encountering anti-air missiles (AAM or SAM) and during that time the Harriers keep getting locked on and shot down by Urals and Stingers. Is there something wrong with what I'm doing, or is it a bug?

Harrier chaff breaks missile locks, use it when they're getting trailed after they've been shot at to make the missiles go away, not before.

The only things I've ever seen intercept/deter a grumble have been cyclops on PDL mode, skyshields and sometimes ECMs, which is strange because ive never seen a harrier deflect a grumble because it has ECM logic. Actually I've had a harrier deflect a grumble once, and that was it...Once...I shrugged it off as a one time bug.
Iglas without lockon mode also get dettered but- If you have air raid towers why arent you on lock on mode in the first place? --------------------  |
