Is there anyone else here who got this game? What are your thoughts? I think it's pretty decent; not great, groundbreaking or as revolutionary as it was cracked up to be, but a good game overall. It's realistic enough to play like something different without becoming overly complicated like ArmA2. Speaking of which, it also runs a whole lot more stable than ArmA. I haven't encountered any major bugs so far and they did a much better job with the voice work here. What I don't like however is that the game isn't as open and non-linear as Codemasters presented it. Sure, you CAN ignore your mission objectives and you CAN walk around the entire island but the critical question is: Why would you want to? There's literally nothing happening outside the mission area and the landscape, while realistic, tends to be quite samey and featureless (like the real world). Friendly AI is okay, enemies act a little stupid at times and the lack of cutscenes and personality keep things on a very formal level but all things considered, it's a good game and most of the problems should be fixed through patches.
