So me and my brother are trying to play an online game of Command and Conquer: Zero Hour with the Shockwave mod installed using C&C Online. We cannot seem to get it to work. I'm resorting to this as I've tried looking everywhere for a solution.
I have the CD version of the game and my brother has the Origin version. We can play together online in the regular game (without the mod) but when he tries to join my game on Shockwave he gets an error saying "Failed to join - the game is a different version". We checked in the options to see if we had the same version of C&C:ZH and Shockwave and we did. The only thing I can think of is that I have the CD version and he has the Origin version. However, as I said before, we can still play the original game normally but it just doesn't work for Shockwave. So I suppose my overall question is if Shockwave works online with C&C online with the CD version and the Origin version. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me. Shockwave 1.2 can be installed and be made to work with any version of Zero hour, however you should use SWR net to connect to each other.
Zeke will probably appear like the batman of the forums he is and throw you some link-a-rangs on how to install it correctly with Origin because alot of people asked this question. -------------------- |

All Zero Hour versions (CD, The First Decade, Origin) are compatible between them, as long as they run the same version (most of the time 1.04).
