ok so i tried it and well it may not be wat the original C&C is supposed to be its pretty fun the only thing i hate about it is no base building r.i.p but pretty well done and right now they just stick you with all the units instead of actually having to level up which will be in the real game once it comes out. oh and no infantry and i never used infantry in the original games cause they usally suck anyways but for some people i think its not rly a good thing that they took them away. lets just say its a cross between DOW and SW:EAW ive only played the beta of dow and i loved eaw so i guess its good right? just dont judge a book by its cover.
P.S - R.I.P classic C&C building |

infantry are big bulky suits of armor that are half the size of a tank wouldnt rly consider that an infantry unit altho it is in the game so yes they are there just in tankish form

You know you're not supposed to discuss the details of the beta anywhere but on the CnC 4 beta forums...

I think no one really cares for these rules - I have already seen fanmade in-game trailers. I have to say, some grafics are a perfect 0 points as are some other things, though I will wait before I judge this game.

People are more gullible than you think. I experimented L4D2's Quick Match today. The thing is so awesome it put me into a server full of americans. A server called 'Christian Snipers'. Oh boy.
Not only they were terrible players but had that familiar accent plus the server name made pretty obvious who I was dealing with. So I decided to have some fun. Anyways a few minutes into the game one of them brought up a conversation about explosives over the pipebomb. I of course displayed impressive knowledge over pipebombs as I had visited the wiki article months back and my memory was being remarkable. They asked me if I was an explosive expert. I told them how I had just gotten back from Pakistan and had gotten training there. My brazilian accent also legitimately makes a foreigner. Long story short. After 20 minutes of trolling them they were pretty sure I was a terrorist. By the end of the game I was yelling into the microphone "JIHAD LALALALALALA!" Every time I threw a damn grenade. Of course these people by then hated my guts, they'd leave me to die when a Special Infected attacked me and would not heal or use the defibrilator on me. I am a good terrorist though, so I did not treat them the same way because I appreciate teamwork. I've never been threatened so much online in my life though. They'd brag about how I was just some sand n**** and how I felt about there were killing so many of 'brothers' and that I was next. The finale of Swamp Fever was almost over. I took an Adrenalin Shot and ran like crazy. I was the first to get across the pier. When I saw my three team mates getting close being chased and punched around by a tank. I threw a molotov on their side of the pier. One tried to brave the flames and was incapacitated almost instantly. The other two tried to cross the water but their movement speed is reduced there and needless to say they were quickly swarmed and I was the only that survived. Anyways that was some epic lulz. -------------------- |

It's indeed rather funny how many people on these so-called 'christian game servers' are basically a bunch of angry, suburban whitekids whose sole connection to Christianity is that their parents drag them into church every Sunday. I remember playing on one of these servers back when I was still into BF2. I was levelling up Cattman's account while he was in the army. They had the standard set of rules you'd expect like no swearing (one bloke got kicked after he said 'damn') and many of them said 'amen' every time they shot someone. Love thy neighbour my arse.

I think racism can be found everywhere, i'm catholic as most part of my country and i have to say that here in italy there is a lot of xenophoby caused by ignorance, Berlusconi's televisions and a lot of uncontrolled immigration, so someone can argue that christians are racists. But i think that is a feature that goes side by side with ignorance, not religion.

Then you haven't seen that many REAL Christians As far as I am concerned the direction of a religion is determined by the majority within said religion. -------------------- |

As far as I am concerned the direction of a religion is determined by the majority within said religion. For those who want to see some epic Christianity - http://www.repentamerica.com/I accidentally found this site a few days ago when I did an image search on "repent". Warning: Christianity inside . -------------------- TN

@Chyros: big BS, what else could come from a website (and the people behind it) which calls itself 'repent'. I never understood Christians (not that I despise them), and that page convices me yet again that religion as a whole is not the right way to go with our path into the future :/

Funny how these people teach about equality, brotherhood and communion while they protest against hate laws.
Hillarious how a pastor was jailed for almost being a damn skinhead and they try to defend him. -------------------- |

how did this thread get to be about stereotyping Christians anyways? but seriously, just because of a L4D2 server, don't bash Christians. let's not have this turn into a flamewar.
