I thought I saw a glimpse of Eldar. Its likely there will be Sisters. I'd love to see Tau as well, if not at release then in an expansion or update.

I never understood 40K and the original warhammer would this be something good to inform me of all the races etc etc as it looks pretty awesome.

So this is the scoop thus far ladies n' gents:
4 Confirmed Races - from what we saw we have SPEES MEHEREENS, Imperial Guard, Orks and Chaos. More factions to be made later expansions/patches. It's a shooter with RPG Elements with trophy elements from the Warhammer mmo, and all the familiar elements from an RPG (Weapons, armor, accessories etc). 2 Sides - factions will be divided into "Order" and "Destruction" factions, ala Warhammer style. Note: This to me makes sense since if we had the total 9 factions sprawled together into separate factions, server populations would be heavier on a faction than the other. I.E: Imperium ('Guard, Space Marines, Inquisition) vs Orks vs Necrons vs Dark Eldar vs Eldar vs Tau vs Tyranids. You can imagine one faction would be heavier than the other (SPEES MEHEREENS) Vehicles will be a big portion of the game, meaning you and your friends can man a vehicle. (Holy shit).
