If I could also chip in here. MSN Hotmail sometimes places the validation email in the Junk folder too.

It only sends it to the Spam folder where you can easily tell if you had anything new
 When you find the message, click the "Not Spam" button to fix all problems

Gmail > all webmail clients
Always catches spam and lets go of nothing else. Though it is because I've given the heuristics 6 years to develop I guess. |

well the vast majority of the people who are on user validation (that means they did not use the confirmation email yet) are yahoo users.
