i was curious as to what everybody wants to see, aside from what the devs have told us.
personally i would like to see the GLA having a dirty nuke ECA howitzers to show the dead zone (for all those not military literate it means minimum range) as well as being able to select multiples USA possibly more chopper options China, why not add a flame tower? i can see the pyro in a bunker with 4 tank hunters but say there's not a barracks by an outpost you have built. Russia thus far is pretty good, i would like to try aerial assaults, say take a chopper and strip it of all weapons for greater transporting capacity? the ruskies have a knack for thinking of everything This post has been edited by z741: 29 Dec 2012, 6:47 -------------------- |

CODE 1. Do not create a suggestion thread in our General Forum. No suggestions are to be made at this time. We have plenty planned. A suggestion forum will be created once we decide it to be so. 10. It is a game, dont start rambling about something not being realistic or inaccurate and most of all, do not start rambling about Tesla weapons for this Russia. QUOTE Nuff said -------------------- |

Venom and all it comes with her This. and a darker ECA Control Bar. Imo, the current one is too bright and I often find myself not knowing that I have a Point to use in my General Powers. Probably something similar in brightness to the normal USA one. This post has been edited by Shredder: 29 Dec 2012, 13:27 |

It would be nice to see a bit of original content of the VZH (Helix, Aurora, Scud...), I still miss it.

As it was mentioned many times, you will see some of it - but in 2.0, where those units will be general-specific. I know that, however I would like to see these units before the version 2.0, the Helix and the Aurora mainly are important units for strategies of attack and defense of their respective factions. Logically need to be balanced to suit the new content. -------------------- You already imagined how would be SAP in the ROTR's universe? Venom and all it comes with her Hey wait Venom is a she? Man I missed a lot. On topic... a second Microwave based unit for US, a medium/heavy (not super heavy) tank for China, a splashy artillery for Russia, a tier one indirect fire artillery for ECA, more salvage usage for GLA. |

I'd like to see more explosions.
Also, more seriously, an explanation for why the F-22 (Which uses AIM-120 AMRAAM Missiles) Does less damage to air targest than the chaparal (Which uses AIM-120 AMRAAM Missiles). -------------------- |

Here is my list:
Venom Solar Blast options A heavy lift transport for USA Remodeled Cobra Some more leaked INI files (he he he) A tank destroyer for GLA (Think chameleon from SHW, but not really) The only thing on this list that has been confirmed for 1.82 is Venom, but the Solar Blast options, Heavy Lift Transport, and Remodeled Cobra are also confirmed. |

QUOTE A tank destroyer for GLA (Think chameleon from SHW, but not really) Ahem, The marauder tank is technically a Tank Destroyer. QUOTE What makes you so sure the ROTR F-22 or Chappie use exactly that particular type of missile? Well, QUOTE The Chaparral is back from its retirement in the 90’s and even though the frame is mostly unchanged it’s now packing AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles. Not only the new missiles boost performance over the old Sidewinders but make the Chaparral an anti-air platform that can be easily manufactured and is reliable. The Chaparral is known for three things: precision, firepower and long range. Once a target is locked on and the missile is fired there is no escape for its prey. If your Raptors aren’t enough then what you need is a Chaparral. It will keep your skies safe and will seriously discourage future air incursions from your enemy. F-22s use it cuz it's the RL version's choice (And because of lack of fluff stating otherwise really XP) EDIT: What? I like fluff. I wish Russia could get the Topol-M in 1.82, but I think that is coming out in 2.0. :/ Be nice to have to counter ECA Pandora. However, My question is how is venom going to be better than Manticore or Pandora protocol, its just another infantry unit. (And let the flame war begin!)

Ask the EALA devs about their logic. The ROTR devs had nothing to od with it.
Offtopicness aside, perhaps a buff to the Tremor AGAS. Maybe 5%. Venom argument My best argument for it is that it will be similar to Volkov in the Red Alert mission, Soviet Soldier Volkov and Chizkoi. Basically, volkov is a cyborg, immune to every single weapon in the game, able to instantly kill buildings, tanks, and infantry, and had absolutely no counter. Venom might be similar, but will probably have a weakness. This post has been edited by Generalcamo: 29 Dec 2012, 16:45 |

Offtopicness aside, perhaps a buff to the Tremor AGAS. Maybe 5%. Well, I proposed the same thing yesterday, after looking into super weapons and their actual capability to engage different types of targets. Although, I didn't run proper tests - only tested with USA missile defense buildings placed in Cross pattern, and SDZs on the edge of SW radius. Got an answer that Tremor is not supposed to have firepower of a SCUD storm (not counting in Toxins here or the amount of cash GLA can get from using it, just raw firepower.) So yeah, it seems Russia is going to stay with slightly weaker superweapon that is not as good at taking on defenses/secondary eco/small but fortified units/buildings. I sometimes wish Aleksandr would've revived that project, in addition to Tesla technology Not going to happen, though. It was said earlier that Venom will not be actually an infantry unit, it is considered a vehicle. I believe this protocol will bring some benefit to the infantry, perhaps exo-suits for everyone! -------------------- You already imagined how would be SAP in the ROTR's universe? Claymore . Blasting enemy denfenses apart and let the Manticore finish the job
The current ECA just doesn't feel like an artillery-centric faction without a heavy SPG with howitzers |
