RF - Guerilla is fun. And Bad Company is a console exclusive Bad Company is one of the best online games I've played, and BC2 will be for PCs! -------------------- "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. BAD COMPANY 2 WILL BE AWESOME.
Judging by the graphics the game currently has, you'd think they'd be doing a crapload of optimisation to get it to run smoothly on the 360/PS3. The fact that it has to run on consoles means I might not be needing to get a new $1000 graphics card just to run the game. To go off on a tangent - the fact that most games are being developed for consoles means that system requirements won't reach the heights of Crysis (at least relative to the time it was released in). This is a good thing, imo. -------------------- DAMMIT CHLOE!

At the same time, when they port console games, they feel rickety/laggy even though visually they are mediocre.

On thing i hate about RF is that they promoted the game about physics based destruction and did not support NVIDIA Physx. That sucks. All the physics processing needs to be done by the CPU results in lags sometimes . But the game is awesome......

A while back, F.E.A.R. 2 was 50% off so I bought it...beat the campaign (haven't found everything yet) and have yet to touch Reborn.

I hear the narrative is pretty lacklustre; flat characters, boring cutscenes and the like, but it's not a bad game, just a lot of unspent
potential. If you try not to think of it as a sequel to the original Flashpoint - which I never managed to get into - you might like it. At least it's not as buggy and generally broken as ArmA2. I'm actually going to pick it up next week. |
