any news on 1.2 ??? Options

Its been a while now and we haven't heared any words from devs. is it cancelled ?
If not i would like to announce a big tournament i would host when 1.2 comes
The prize might not be as big as the previous 200$ tournament probably 50-100$

Yes, 1.2 (or whatever it will be called) is still being worked on. I can assure you it isn't dead, it just took a turn at the Backburner until ROTR 1.86 is finished.

Actually, you said work on new shockwave will be after ROTR 1.85 will be realized, and now it's need to finish ROTR 1.86.

then they need to finish ROTR 1.87 and then whatever version and by the year 2843 ROTR will be done. no more stuff to add.
but tbh i don't know whats wrong with developers, its a 2003 game. who the hell gives shit about developing it anymore ... especially on its broken engine.
the whole game is dead, more dead than dead itself, the only guys left playing it are either addicted pros or arabs on wooden pc's and the only reason they're playing it is they can't run other games. there are no new people playing it. a mod won't bring it back to life, ROTR multiplayer is completely dead not to mention the quality of players playing it, SHW multiplayer is like you have to wait for 2 hours to find a 2v2 game with no good players playing it at all except a few and they're not active
so guys just give us our 1.2 patch, we don't need more stuff to be added to 1.2, no one asked for more tanks or upgrades. all we want is a fuckin balance patch that would take like 20 mins of work so just do it. if its too much work for you just take nikitazero678's patch, adjust some stuff, name it 1.2 and release it officialy.

Here's some food for thought, Are you the one who commissioned the SWR team to make ShockWave? No. Have you made any significant contribution to the development of ShockWave? I doubt it. Are you a person of such importance that not listening to you will harm the development of ShockWave in any way? I don't think so. So kindly explain to me exactly, why is it that the team should listen to you?

You already said that you don't care for ZH and it's development, so it can't be that, and it can't be to prevent ZH multiplayer from dying, because with how you described it, it seems that it's already dead, so really, what's the rush?

Mod teams make mods because they want to, not because they were asked to, and while we are thankful for our fans for their support, at the end of the day we are not doing this for their sake, but for our sake. If you don't like that, then you can just leave.

Afterall, as you yourself admit, ZH is dead, and there's no point in developing it further.
