I did try it. Pretty good additions with Tiberian Sun units, like the Wolverine and Titan.
Really fun to play.

Agree! The concept of FPS + RTS is very well executed. Can you think of a another title that has the same game mechanic? i.e. engineer capture and repair/protect buildings/allies, operate vehicle/aircraft/robot, destroy/protect harvester and economy -> buy better weapon/vehicle with in-game credits, super weapon & call airstrike

I can only think of the latest Star War Battlefront without the harvester. That already tells how unique this game is.

Oh, that looks shiny, I missed the last 2 beta releases, but that makes me want to play again. Titans and Wolverines FTW!!!

I always wanted to have ZH as Egoshooter but now I want ROTR as Egoshooter even more I think there is a ZH mod for good old CNC Renegade.
The game of my dreams would be to have some kind of battlefield game but with commanders actually building the base and teching stuff for their army while the other players take control of capturepoints like oil derriks and supply depots while following orders of the commander. And all of that in the ROTR universe

Too bad such a game will always be a dream, because gamers nowadays have no clue how to act as a team and are running around like headless chicken. The only shooters I know where teamplay is present are Project Reality and ArmA.

Well it's POSSIBLE to make FPS ROTR as a full conversion mod for Renegade X, since they have released the SDK. we just need some pro coders and modellers for that

Hey at least I am not alone with my dream. Waiting for 'Squad' right now to hit steam early access. That game looks promising in this regard and will be the closest we can get to my dream game

I am huge fan of BF2:PR,and I think that Squad will be awesome.
But PR gameplay and ROTR setting would not really get along imo,
I think more arcady one,such as seen in BF games or Renegade
would suit more to such type of a game.

Sure thing, you don't want to have 3 players to operate 1 Sentinel and to wait 30 seconds till the cannon is operational, 1 guy is enough, like in Renegade or BF
I just mentioned those 2 games for their emphasis on teamplay. We need more arcady mechanics combined with lots of teamplay + basebuilding
