I wanted to have many different mods for Generals but I want to Know if they are safe even I have many different mods already donwloaded and installed

SWR Productions' mods are ShockWave (the fun expansion mod), Rise of the Reds (the partial conversion mod), WarGames ZH (the total conversion mod) and Generals Classic (the balance and bug-fix mod).

I still separate them anyway because I'm paranoid.

I do the same, but that's mainly because I edit stuff on a regular basis to test things out and in case I forget that I left the INI folder active, nothing would happen if I start-up another mod later.

this work of yours is some good stuff and is really appreciated! I've had been using the Zero Hour Mod Manager and I liked this over the latter.

do you install the Zero hour directory in the Clean ZH folder

Just install everything usual (Generals, ZH, patches), then copy your ZH folder for each mod and rename the copies, for example like this:

Then install the mods into the respective folders.

Im pretty sure you will not able to play ROTR or other mods at all as it seems to be a standalone rip of zero hour without the main assets :/ Sorry buddy

Your supposed to extract it to a copy of your ZH folder.

Shell map is the animated backround you see in the menu or while trying to host a game.
Classic cameos are the cameos like from older CNC titles that have the units name in them.Imagine red alert 2 cameo buttons

The Shell Map is the battle you see in the main menu (unless it is disabled on your end).

Classic cameos emulate the look from older CnC games like RA2 by adding a text string under them. Example:

Either all those mods coincidentally have broken AI, or you're not disabling ZH's AI for mods that use their own AI, and it's creating a conflict somewhere.

Some mods require you to disable the game's AI, by deleting/renaming files in the "Data>Script" folder in your ZH folder, and that applies to all the copies as well.

Btw, most of the time when I'm selecting maps, they just start shuffling by themselves and I can't select my map, help?

This is interesting because I've considered combining some units from Shockwave into C&C Untitled only I suck at programming them into the scripts and I don't think the models are compatible.

In which mod is it allowed to change the unit properties around?
Or lets say put China's Nuke cooldown on 20 seconds or something smile.gif
And does anyone know how to do that?

Seems like heaps of fun.
