its a shame it wont come back. Its a brilliant model and it did have lots of charm to it.
I know Mars and Jie were brainstorming ways to implement it as a gp/main tank hybrid thing on discord, but i dont know if the idea got resolved enough. I think the model and the code are still in the games files so they could easily be adde dback into the game and changed somehow in an unofficial patch.

I do hope they make a return one day, unofficially or not.

There were canned plans to have it be a sulaymaan exclusive, I think.

To be honest, I'm not sure how it could work. If it replaced the Scorpion, it'd still have to be weaker than the Marauder due to the Marauder being a higher tier vehicle, but that'd be a bit confusing when it's obviously a properly built tank, as opposed to the Marauder's junk appearance.

I suppose it could work in the same sense as Shockwave, where each general had a variation of the Scorpion depending on there speciality. Perhaps the Scorpion name could be dropped and re-brand it as something else, say, a middle ground tank between the Scorpion and Marauder. Either way, it's a good looking tank and it would be a shame to lose.

I don't know why people are polarised about this model. It seems you either love it or you absolutely hate it with a passion. I get why it got scrapped but still, of all the models in the game, why do people hate this one?

Idk if anyone hates it, I surely don't, thing is, unit doesn't feel GLA, nor does it look like it.

I agree with you. But Hunter has thing for Soviet weaponry... Well at least it wasn't something overused and generic, something like MiG-21.
