I don't see a reason to lock this. There's nothing wrong with trying to gather faction details via a process of elimination/verifying available information.

1 - Demo Tracks will be exclusive to Terror Cell
2 - Nuke Cannons will be exclusive to Special Weapons
3 - Mortar Tracks will be exclusive to Fire Support
4 - WASP Hives will be exclusive to Air Force
5 - Banshees will be exclusive to Secret Police
6 - Propaganda Airships will be exclusive to Secret Police
7 - The old Scorpion will be available to Terror Cell
8 - As it stands right now, the Emperor will not make a return as it's basically just a souped-up Overlord which is already exclusive to Red Army
9 - Random design decision, doesn't mean a thing
10 - Warlord will have exclusive access to the Marauder which will eventually be very different from the current version in order to make it more interesting
11 - That's classified at this time
12 - Anthrax Beta is already exclusive to Bio Command. As such, Anthrax Gamma is scrapped entirely. He will of course have unique toxin themed units, but the cripplingly overspecialised Toxin Rebel is not one of them
13 - The Saboteur has been scrapped because most of his abilities now belong to the ECA hero. Functionally, Terror Cell is kind of a blend between Stealth and Demo
14 - Orlov gets the Hind, the Hokum and the Hunchback, Zhukov and Aleksandr get the Havoc in addition to one yet-to-be-disclosed helicopter respectively
15 - Royal Guard gets improved versions of regular ECA defences, additional logistics capabilities and units that are geared towards defensive support

IIRC Isn't it because Composite Armor is exclusive to Bradley?

So is the Bradley IFV itself though.

Mainly the fact that Yusuuf will be designed to favour fast guerilla strikes and raiding with light units. He's also the most staunch backwards thinking bloke in the entire GLA who probably considered it a blasphemy that his fellow leaders are now using an old British Centurion tank.

By the way i recall reading ages ago that General Aleksandr will get some kind of upgrade for his vehicles that is suppose to help against infantry, I am not asking what exactly it does or any of it's details all i am asking is if this is an confirmed upgrade or that my memory messing with me?

If the mortor track is a Fire Support exclusive does that mean the other two generals will have a replacement or will they be stuck with mine layers?

They will also have unique artillery units, albeit in a different design niche. The Mortar Track is unique in that it is available at Tier-1 in addition to Charles' Claymore Howitzer which'll be Tier-2. The other ECA Generals will only have unique niche equivalents at Tier-2.

I have been wondering about General Aleksandr's railgun tech is it going to be an upgrade that affects some of his tanks or will it only be on his MBTs ?

I guess the generals will be much more unique than in ZH. Hopefully no generals turns out to be worthless. I had that feeling in ZH. Always preferred the plain factions.

Tier 2? Unexpected.

^ Since the Claymore basically -is- a mobile version of the Howitzer Position (which is a Tier-2 structure itself), it has to be a late game unit as well.

So basically we ECA players have a tier1 artillery as a tier2 unit at the moment ?
The Mortartrack feels a bit underpowered compared to other artilleries. It could be slightly more precise and use harder hitting shells.

Let me guess, Mechanized Assault will have a mobile artillery as a replacement then? Something like that panzerweffer of Juhziz in shockwave?

Will the Golem and Sentinel be available at the sametime?

Will 1 of the Russian generals have something as a replacement for the frogfoot?

The Golem will be exclusive to General Aleksandr so he won't get the sentinel, The Sentinel will be for Orlov and Zhukov.

1 - The Osprey will remain infantry only. The USA's planned vehicle transport heli is going to be entirely different.
2 - He gets the regular Comanche.
3 - Hoppers will be available to all Chinese Generals.
4 - Lots of hacking, ECM, propaganda as well as a number special infantry units and vehicles that can be used somewhat more tactically compared to the others.
5 - Nuclear Tanks, Depleted Uranium Shells and Isotope Stability will remain available to all Chinese Generals as they are necessary global upgrades for the late game (speed + firepower + making sure that your tank blobs don't self-destruct)
6 - There will still be a few 'spend a point to unlock unit X' type General Powers, but we'll make sure that the units they bring are actually worth it. Armored Company is actually one of the unlocks that'll most likely be removed.
7 - According to current plans, a total of six. That includes common units like Burton and Missile Defenders though, so it's a bit of a cryptic information.
8 - No. Golems are exclusive to Aleksandr whereas the Sentinel is available to Orlov and Zhukov.
9 - Not planned at this time.

Also, I'm hereby informing you guys that the Railgun Kodiak is officially obsolete: Aleksandr is actually getting a unique MBT that will later benefit from a railgun upgrade.

A few teaser videos that show the generals' uniqueness would be extremely nice and should get attention on ModDB.

A question that I had in mind since quite a while about 2.0 ECA protocoles.

Will each ECA general get his own protocole?
German mechanized assault will have Manticore.
Fire support will have Pandora
And defensive general will have Venom, whatever it is.

Since the information on the next generation of Russian tanks are quite scarce at this time, we're not going to base it off a RL vehicle. For what it's worth, the fluff might eventually reference the project though.



All three protocols will be available to all three Generals. We want to give you guys options to choose which Protocol suits your playstyle rather than having no-brainer upgrades that don't provide you with an alternative.

So the Railgun Upgrade is only for the Aleksandr's MBTs like the scorpion rocket is only for GLA's MBTs or will the railgun upgrade affect other vehicles to?

I hope that Jin retains some of the feel that Fai did, indeed, 'Volunteer Squads' may be a better unit to give Jin than hopper tanks, since when did the Chinese Secret Police need tankettes to do mass battle, eh? It's not like the Chinese are in the middle of a civil war, it would be far better that Jin be seen to be utilising 'volunteers' from all those nations its got a presence in, as well as recruiting 'fanatics from home'.

Volunteer Squads and Hoppers have been stated as being available to everyone.

I always wondered why current ECA is currently using only one or two (if you count Mole) artillery units
since their description says they are artillery based faction,yeah they have mortar pits and Howitzers,
but they really lack mobile artillery in my opinion,China is real artillery faction . . . But yeah . . . This is all beta . . . So we can expect changes.

Which general and will it be replacement for interceptor or hellfire ?

About Tier 1 Anti-air is USA the only faction that each general gets a different Anti-air vehicle ?

if i remember correct Bradley gets an M113 , Thorn gets the avenger and griffon gets an exclusive that has not been revealed yet correct?
Anyway my point is are the other factions generals getting any exclusives Tier 1 Anti-air ?

Also I recall in the INI files that Orlov was going to get a bunker add-on for the component tower and there was a mention that Zhukov was going to get an artillery add-on for him, is this true?

EDIT: Also talking defence structures, since IIRC the Gun Turret for the ECA will be going to Wilhem and the other two getting their own unique ones will they be filling the anti-tank niche or are they different (if they don't have any AT I assume why the Reinforced Fortifactions were done to protect against heavier assaults)?

And it would use Black Eagle voice ?

1.The red star and gold ring is the horde bonus. Its when 5 or more 'horde' units (Battlemaster, red guard, tank hunter... mostly basic units) gather together and gain a bonus from their strength in numbers.

2. No idea where you got that.

3. I don't know what you mean by logo. If you meant the horde bonus stars, then no, they do not have horde bonus. Well... except the overlord. Only most chinese units get horde bonus

4. ... I dont know ... but I guesss same answer as 3?

5. I don't know about shockwave.... it seems that production for it stopped. The mod's done. They might come back and make a minor patch, but I doubt it.

6. 7. 8. We don't know yet. The General specific units are yet to be revealed

9. I'm not sure. Aleksander is the special weapons general. He's gonna be using more tesla, flame, and other stuff. Maybe he doesn't need the sentinel

10. Well, the main style of gameplay is preserved, but there is gonna be a lot of new additions and improvements.

It has been removed in 1.8. Didn't you know it?
