I think Mael would be a good replacement for BMP and RPG Conscript.

Well that's an ambitious venture, already speaking English without franc-comtois accent is kinda hard to me, now speaking with american, arabic, russian, german, spanish or chinese accent, I wouldn't even try.

Besides, that's what makes a huge part of the fun about the CnC series, n'est-ce pas ?

For now, I'm not working on other units.
As for the Felin, he's not a priority. There are some units which do not have a full voiceset, like the Berkut. Those are priority.


Personnally, I don't even know myself . My Russian accent is far from perfect, and I like the existing voice for the BMP. Plus, their voicesets are functionnal, so, again, no priority.


Don't think it was easy for me ^^. First I tried other units, and in each set, you could hear my f***ing Mosellan accent. My first impressions of an arabic accent sounded like a bad parody of the Recycler, made by some drunk Frenchman . But, with some time, I managed to do the Stinger. And, as you said, it was loads of fun to do it, and it will still be fun in the future

You can give a try at RPG Conscript, it became the Scrappy voiceset pretty much, the backlash is strong enough on that one. BMP stays though.

Also I know a good youtube caster called stanislav/Xezon0, who honestly gets me LMAO all along his casts with his GLA - Dr Thrax accent, though he is from Czech Republic.
He may be a good source of inspiration for your training if you need.

I totally support this, your Russian accent wouldn't be bad. Besides, we don't have a true Russian accent anywhere in the mod anyway, so there's no need to make yours sound 100% natural. And you can always ask me, if you ever need help with Russian words

That guy who did half of ECA voices is absolutely talented, but I'd also prefer a new VO from a true French. And additional benefit here is that Felin could finally receive proper lines for surrendering and Starstreak attacks. And maybe a more serious and professional character, instead of somewhat cheesy (no offence here) one we have now.

Crimson's voice would fit better for this unit I think, considering it is a guy who works hard and can fight back of needed

Also i was wondering why Russia is not voiced by Russians(or close).
Eca and Usa i dig. But Russia? Their voices don't sound Russian to me.

Either Russians aren't interested in voicing at all, either lack quality equipment, or both.

Also, for Western audiences, they do sound Russian. Stereotypic accents, yay.

Wow. To me they clearly sound not russian bc Voices are too soft(not all of them).
