What do you guys consider the most overpowered (or borderline overpowered) units in Shockwave?

Some that come to mind:

Blacksharks with the Assault upgrade - not only do they have good armor but with this upgrade their firepower is so immense that they can defeat AA units and defenses head on - pretty much the only thing they can't obliterate are air units.

Overlord/Emperor tanks with the Gattling Cannon upgrade (against Stealth General) - this probably has more to do with Kassad being underpowered, but right now you can pretty much win against Kassad with Overlords alone.

Enforcer tanks - If the teleport is used well by a skilled player they can be quite deadly - however they're one of my favorite units in the game as of right now

Laser Stealth fighters - Great attack damage and a large ammo payload - in groups they're very deadly against structures

Marauder tanks and Scarab tanks - with full Salvage and veterancy (particularly with Salvage General) you get a cheap-as-dirt tank with firepower on power with that of a fully upgraded Emperor Overlord - you can beat pretty much any Skirmish AI easily by just salvaging up a handful of marauders or Scarabs and then laying waste to everything in your path

Quad Cannons in general (Quad Tanks in particular) - though they've been around since the original Generals IMO this unit is too versatile and in numbers are strong against pretty much everything (infantry, vehicles, buildings, and aircraft) - with the only real weakness being the light armor - for the most part they make GLA tanks redundant (with the exception of maybe a fully upgraded Marauder/Scarab, or a Basilisk)

BDRM-1 - Long range, great speed, great damage against anything on the ground - these can be very deadly against certain Generals (Ironside in particular, who has few units with are fast enough to catch up with them).

Humvees (fully loaded with Missile defenders) - Again been around since the original Generals, but these can definitely be OP especially if rushed early game

I would say Laser Crusaders with the PDL battledrone, you've got a moderately cheap, anti ground/rocket/infantry unit all rolled into one. If you throw in a Avenger or two, you're pretty much unstoppable.

That may be, but you can't really base your argument on an AI because they are, well, an AI that just throws units at you. Whereas a human player can easily dispatch such a unit quite easily since they have the ability to think tactically. You also forgot about Junk Armour, by the way.

It's also amphibious but I'm not sure if that's a advantage or not. Anyway it's a Rank 3 unit which whereas Ironside can easily use Widows which require nothing but an airfield to get rid of them. The BDRMs weakness would be its slow fire rate, its reload speed and its paper armour.

imo only quad tanks are too op, they should not be able to destroy tank in [one quad vs one tank] battle,

+ paladins with pdl drones are very hard to kill for ony rocket based artillery general (demo gla for example)
