Went ingame with our new Russian ones- I quite love the new skins for them. Have yet to see the new VDV ones in action; might boot up an old replay. I'd think that'd do it.

Will edit this and give further thoughts after some tinkering.

Edit: You went full Gurlokovich with the VDV, I fuggin love it.





I love it so much actually that im asking, could it be possible you make a third pack for the normal conscripts and all of them in this sort of camo? I do realize that the VDV are special airbourne troops but holy hell would it jive even more with the vehicles n other shit.

Perhaps not the same camo. Just a maybe give them brown pants, keep their normal green shirts.

You might want to use the 07 Arid CHN pack for your ally. This MGS2 goon's color tone made me like the 07 Arid too.

Wow, thanks Crimson! Yeah, I might be able to do something. Need to go camoflage hunting a little bit though. I was thinking of actually doing an entire russian infantry themed pack for General Orlov featuring this (and other visually similar) stuff, to represent his spetsnaz guard unit. Thoughts?

but the installation instructions file in the battle master pack is blank.

Ah. That's indeed a bug. The installation instructions are the same as any other pack though. Put the texture files (.dds files) into your art/textures folder.

Im not fazed enough about this to reupload the entire pack just for that fix. The B-master pack will get taken down when the grand release comes out anyway, since it will have been updated vastly and made obsolete.

Well, I mean like which ones can I download that are "current" persay.

The battle-master pack is probably the most 'dated' in terms of what Im working on vs what is on offer. The PLA and ECA packs are great, and the Russian one is of fair quality as well, although the russians will also be heavily updated in the future.

Honestly just decide if you find them aesthetically pleasing and grab them if you like, or dont. Or grab a pack and remove some specific ones that bother you. Textures are really easy to mix and match to find an ideal fit for you!

Current release plans:

1. USA Pack, featuring:

Infantry Textures:
-MARPAT pack for the Vanguard Missile Defender, Ranger and possibly Sniper
-ACU pack for the Ranger/Missile Defender
-Woodland pack for the entire set
-Desert pack for the entire set
-Black Ops pack for the entire set
-ERDL pack for the Ranger/Missile Defender
-Possibly snow pack, likely only for the ranger/missile defender

Vehicles: (Warfactory vehicles only so far)
-Woodland
-Desert
-??? Possibly Urban.
-Classic pack (based around woodland US vehicle camo around the 1990s)

2. GLA Pack
-No optionals or Vehicle camos planned.
-Possibility for a snow release later.

3. Grand Release:
Will feature, for the ECA:
-Optional Snow themed vehicle pack
-Optional 'realistic' texture set for the Leopard, Gepard, possibly also Jagdmammut
-Realistic/BDU pack for the Infantry. Possibly with option for a desert pack.

For China:
-Almost all vehicles retextured.

For USA:
-Nothing for the moment. (offer suggestions )
-Drone pack?

For Russia:
-Snow themed vehicle pack
-Optional Camo packs for infantry

For GLA:
-Possible vehicle camo.

For the USA, matching camo for everything? :3

thats not realy camo seeing as how its just a dark green color.

Well, technically, "camouflage" means anything that can make you less visible in matching enviroments, be it 2-D color or 3-D leaves and netting. Plain green camo has been camouflage on US vehicles in WW2 and the Cold War, as well as Russian vehicles, but yeah in a winter environment it wouldn't be that much camo.

Since you can modify the skins based on the map type, would it be possible to have infantry pick the snow camo when on a snow map?
