Yes Generals, the long-awaited moment is finally here. The 11th anniversary of C&C Shockwave is upon us, and with that, the release of our Anniversary patch. 11 years ago on this date, The_Hunter released C&C Shockwave 0.8 to the public. At the time, it was a simple balance patch with a couple of new units. It has significantly grown since then to become more than that, but still contains the fast paced gameplay we love from the original Zero Hour. And now, a new version dawns on us, in a new era of the C&C community. On behalf of the SWR team, The_Hunter, and myself, we thank you for your support throughout the years and welcome many more exciting years to come. We will continue to support the Shockwave community for the forseeable future, and will continue to make patches to balance the game, fix bugs, and maybe even add a few surprises along the way. Changelog Do note that this is a full version, and you should uninstall 1.1 before installing this. Also note that we haven't tested this with the General's Challenges, which will be entirely reworked in a future patch. Also, we will not be providing a no-installer/Mac release for this version. (due to a limitation of the Mac release of the game it will crash consistently) Also check out Hecthor Doomhammer's release streams on Friday at 19:00 UTC and Sunday at 14:00 UTC. Look for games being hosted by Hecthor Doomhammer himself during those times if you wish to be on the stream. See you on the battlefield! This post has been edited by The_Hunter: 16 Mar 2016, 15:50 |

Do not confuse aggressiveness and disappointment, I didn't say any offensive word to somebody. You say that opinion of all community is important for you, but when somebody criticizes you, you feel it as agression, it's silly, because it seems like you just affraid to listen truth. And the truth is, that shockwave 1.1 is almost flawless, all it was need just fix a few OP units. But you not only failed to correct existing problems, you also created a whole bunch of new due to the fact that began to correct things which not need to be corrected. Therefore, I ask: what happened with you, Hunter? Maybe you started using something intoxicating, because it is legal in the Netherlands?

O'right, we're just gonna listen to an opnion from someone who didn't even bother spending time playing the game for more than a week, and ignore the group of dedicated players who were trying their best to balance out the issues and stuck with the entire development phase. It's one thing to critisize, but it should be constructive , not ' Well your mod suck because you did this and this....' . It just makes you seem like an asshole, atleast that's the impression you're giving off to everyone. So here is what's gonna happen : - Nobody is gonna listen to you. - You're gonna either play the damn game, and if you really want to contribute with balance then give proper feedback/ detailed opinion about what's the balance problems with replays to proove, otherwise everything you say will stay in the Bullshit zone, nobody would take them seriously. - OR if you are dissapointed from the game, then don't play it. Simple as that. Go back to your 'Pro-ZH' game and complain about balance issues there, it's not like it would matter or anything. Bet nobody would care.
