Golems can swim by default, it's one of their features. They can only use their machinegun though. But in my picture, it f***ing went over a cliff as if it's a bike, sir. And my beef is, it didn't only happen once, but so many times. That nearly made me ragequit, if I'm allowed to say. -------------------- |

Managed to play RoTR with my 256mb ram. Apparently, Golem Tanks beat even bikes in their all-terrain capabilities. Map bug, happenes kinda everywhere where is water. Same happened to me on Bridge Wars, damn Busses became amphibious bunkers -------------------- |

not a strange moment but I didn't want to make a thread just on this...
I just play a 2hour game (me: ECA vs AI: China) map badad map (whatever its call) I got so into the waves and waves of tanks and aircraft coming at my forward base that I didn't notice that my main base got captured and sold and I lost a two hour battle.... The best thing I remember was when in a map called I think "Lone Eagle", several of my AI ally's tomahawks got close to civilian buildings to fire against the enemy base, but the missiles ended up exploding against the civilian buildings immediately after launch and destroyed the Tomahawks.
Gotta love artillery suicide |

Dat moment when Ru AI's Arms dealer deploys on cliff, coming out of a Warfactory facing the said cliff.
EDIT: Also i made that game to observe at an how far degree AI sucks. RU managed to gather a sizeable airforce once, however never attacked the only ECA powersupply preferring suicide right into defenses instead. Turns out the only thing you would need is to outspam him. Imba AI limitations. AI controlled Crusader Tanks somehow manage to do that, they explode on spot as they upgrade with a drone and their wrack remains ingame where they have been forever upgrading with a falling drone. Weird. Now we see the new RU tunnel system! Seen atleast 2 Sentinels in there as they moved their turrets. For the lulz! This post has been edited by Eagle 11: 2 Oct 2013, 15:32 |

when conscript RPG fire cant see the smoke and not just also Buratino, s300 grumble, chaparral m48 etc. I cant see smoke coming out when firing

This happened while playing a normal game :v

Talking of Strange Moments... Why the hell does the game start to slow right down and give me loads of LAG when a lot is going on on the screen? It goes really slow when ive got 4 Brutal AI on the map (lone star state) for example. After about an hour of this slow lag, the game then crashes!
PS and whats the best resolution to set the game at? The highest but how? |

You can edit the options.ini in your My Documents/Zero Hour something folder. But to have the values actually appear, you have to set the resolution ingame manually first. Also after changing the resolution in options.ini, do not change anything ingame option-wise because else the game might reset the resolution again (because officially is does not know the values you set). Also, to reduce lag, reduce particle effects and stuff. Less work, smoother game. The other source of lag is lots of unit movement, because the pathfinding script for the game is poorly written. Nothing can be done about that one.
