Since the community seems to be creating more and more custom maps these days i have decided to open a new forum for you all to use for this.
Instead of focusing all maps in a single topic feel free to make a new topic for each maps. This way you can get much faster and easier feedback on your maps and it will be easier to keep track of things. -------------------- |

Actually @Hunter, personally I like how people can group all their maps together on one Post.. How about you pin the Map Creators "Main" post on top.. and the new maps will be posted below for testing and versions... but final versions will be organized on the pinned...
BUT thats just an Idea of mine, its up to you to do it .. Thanks |

We (Skitt and me) are already working on a system to make this organized. But since threads full of maps (and posts with text inbetween) is exactly what we'd like to avoid, most likely that's not how it'll work.

We (Skitt and me) are already working on a system to make this organized. Is this a system that will come soon? or are we waiting for you guys to make one? cuz in spare time, I would like to post my maps, not sure why you would abruptly close my topic like that. not taking any offense tho, don't really care. xattus is doing the necessary topics now as well as a rules guideline, please wait untill after there posted so you know what format to follow etc. theres no pressing need for you to post your maps yet eg: iv got 4 maps to post and im waiting

XAttus, can you add a Survival Map pin, cuz I will post some of those and I would NOT like them to be in Special Scripted Maps since its a different game style called survival, not a Scripted multiplayer

then it goes in the 4 section its not a regular game mode, that's why i don't want them in a regular 4 player map section.. Its one of those Game modes from zh. and I would like people to know right away that its a special type of map. Kinda like the Special Scripted Maps, which is for XAttus maps |

its a 2v2, regardless of if its a survival or not.
each map is gets its own post in the section with full description and screen shots, people will know and see what kind of map it is don't worry about that the special scripted maps section is for aod's and the likes. Xattus' arena maps are getting there own section due to them being a unique game mode with its own AI of sorts. -------------------- |

Just a remark... In the "How to properly submit a map", would be nice to have a screenshot of the entire map (in my opinion).

I'm not a map maker, but I'll ask the in general question: will there also be 3, 5,6, etc.. player sections, or just a more broad category for non 2 and 4 player maps?

I'm not a map maker, but I'll ask the in general question: will there also be 3, 5,6, etc.. player sections, or just a more broad category for non 2 and 4 player maps? yes there will be when theres more maps of those category, atm theres not much point in opening them up for just 2 or 3 maps -------------------- |

Hello I'm interested in getting into map making but for some reason the ROTR World Builder keep on running into error .
Is this because I'm using the beta/public testing version ? or Should I just reinstall 1.85 and use that version ? Also while I'm here I remember there bieng differences between the Zero Hour and ROTR World Builder what are they may I ask ? The standard zeor hour world builder comes up with the same problem , when ever I use any of the terrain brushes it comes up with an error .
